It's really annoying when someone steals a pic of your item for their listing. I recently sold an Ever After High  doll (not to this seller either) , and seller on ebay UK ajising236 is now using my picture, with my dining room table and camera flash still on it though he's tried to crop out some of the background to hide it. It's still identical . I use exact pics of the items I sell, so this is more of an issue. There are people watching this doll in his listing and it's not the one they'll be getting

So I sent a message asking him to remove my pic but it's still there . I decided to go ahead and report him but things seem to have changed! It used to be really easy but now the catagories have changed and I have no Idea what this VeRO thing is TBH :yikes: , not had chance to keep up with this particular change.  Can someone talk me through reporting this guy for using my pic please? I need to catch up with ebays changes but things have been hectic lately! :dizzy:
Thanks in advance for your help :grouphug:

Heads up peeps , Hermes are still a huge FAIL , be careful if your seller ships using them  :(
I know there have been previous threads in here about Hermes, including another horror story of someone's pony parcel being left in the bin or recycling, but it seems that despite complaints from customers , some at least who deliver for Hermes are still doing terrible things with parcels.

The last 3 toy parcels I've had that have been delivered by Hermes  over the last month ( 2 from Disney Store, one from Asda  ) have been deboxed and and worse :yikes:

Issue 1 :  A deluxe set of singing  Frozen dolls from  Disney Store : DS packed in a large box (I bought the Tangled deluxe set and others before now and they were packed perfectly, lately DS have packed better and sealed the boxes better with DS tape too)  with paper etc in there to stop damage.    I was looking out for my parcel- we were at home and expecting it - when I got a notification on the computer that it had been delivered. But it hadn't?  :what:      .. no-one had knocked the door.... so went to check.
There was a card pushed through saying the parcel has been left in the green bin !!(in the UK my area that means the Garden waste! which was full of dead rotting leaves and water)  :whoa:      .  As if that wasn't horrifying enough, I knew that the box it would have come in from Disney Store would not have fitted in that bin.. and I was right. The Hermes guy had pulled the DS label off the box (there were card bits on the back of the sticker with my addy on), stuck it directly onto my deluxe set  (- which BTW wasn't cheap, and they sing so there are holes in the plastic so you can twirl the girls hands, and I keep these deluxe sets MIB for my collection!! ), and then literally shoved the totally deboxed set into the waste bin to make it fit  and dented the actual set  because it still wouldn't fit,  plus with no wrapping and my invoice shoved in there with my details on too.  .   Needless to say my set was all soggy and damaged    :wail: . I contacted Disney Store who were also horrified and I sent them pics - also thankfully there was the evidence that the guy had written he had put my item in the bin which I submitted to Disney Store who sorted me out another set and discounts and apologised ...
Also thankfully it was not bin collection day when Hermes did this to my parcel!
Disney Store were great about it
but
issue 2 : My replacement set - the guy did actually knock the door this time , but my set  had also been deboxed AGAIN and put into a Hermes bag , no DS invoice, and it was all dented and damaged box too. I could not fault Disney Store for this but the Hermes guy had obviously took it onto himself (it was a him) to debox , and delivered this set in his car, not in Hermes van, though he was from them. I left it at that. Disney Store had been fantastic but Hermes once again ruined my stuff  :(

Issue 3: Asda (Walmart) online toy delivery. Again a large deluxe set, to be kept MIB.  I didn't think they used Hermes, they usually use their own delivery peeps - but when I got the "out for delivery" notification it was from Hermes   - and guess what? yep the guy knocked the door but my set had again been deboxed. He handed my Father in Law (who was in at the time) a note saying that he had deboxed because the outer original packaging from Asda had got wet and damaged on the way (uh it was only just out for delivery?!! and it wasn't raining! :throw:      ) , also my invoice was loose and handed over, then the guy left.
Thankfully my set was not (badly) damaged this time and could be left MIB , but again it had been deboxed by the Hermes guy, and my invoice with details had been taken out too though this one was handed over  :(

Seriously this is bad! I will never be using hermes to delivery anything from me and will think twice before buying from a company that uses them in future  :pout:

I would NOT recommend Hermes at all now.  Please be careful and keep a look out for your stuff on delivery dates if you are getting something delivered by Hermes

(end of rant   )

Hi all, so sorry to have let you guys down - I know some of you have been PMing me for help and I wish I had been able to answer before now or at least posted this message
. Again I'm sorry. I'm dealing with some pretty stressful real life issues at the moment, health issues with myself and  my family , and my cat just had a big op and I'm having to look after her as well.  I haven't been able to get online as much as I need to and to be honest I cant deal with any other problems ATM as I'm barely coping with my own and I cant think properly :(
I'll get back to normal as soon as I can, and I'll pop in here when I can too even if its brief ATM, but in the meantime please would you PM another mod if you need specific help quickly? I don't feel able to give you the time and attention you need and deserve
Thanks so much for being understanding while I get through this

The one I'm talking about is from Disney Store UK. She is the same mold as the Animator series and the first Rapunzel toddler made by Disney Store although she was released 2010/2011 so before the animator boxes started out. She is in a Tangled/Rapunzel box.  Bought in the UK and has DS UK stamped on her I believe although I have never taken this one out of her box but the other UK one I have has DS UK or London or something like that one her- not sure if US one is any different or had a different box or not?

She has long hair with tinsel and is wearing her nightgown. Mint in box, no flaws. Box is multi language  version.
I could do with a PC as I could do with some monies so if she is sought after still or worth anything much I *might* be willing to part with her

Oh BTW if anyone is wondering - I'm not selling my Rapunzel collection - I have two of these dollies  - I bought one and hubby bought me one as a surprise (without knowing I'd bought myself the same doll   :lookround: ) when they first were released and I've held on to both as one was in a square box and one in a more rounded box  ;)
Thankies in advance for any help  :lovey:  :)

Its time for my yearly trip to Italy  and I cant wait!!  :frolic:  :sunny:
I'm gone from 15th June to 1st July so I'll be light over that time, but I will have internet access so I can pop in every now and then too ;)
There are still some family members at home so if you sent me a parcel dont worry - there's someone home to look after it for me

onto the Ebay question. of course ebay varies from country to country...
ok, I should prolly know this but I havent had to deal with it before so ...
what should I do about my current ebay listings? :what:
I know if you are a shop then you can add a note to say you are away and for how long for.... but I cant seem to find a way to do this as  a private seller. is it possible?  :what:  or should I end my listings? or should I just leave everything as it is and give mom some instructions for posting anything that sells while I'm away and let her know any addresses etc?
All advice is welcome - thanks in advance everyone ! :grouphug:  :lovey:

Just a heads up that this seller  (snushah)  on ebay UK has stolen my pics and I believe other peoples pics too (though I dont know exactly who elses pics). They are selling a lot of Disney Frozen stuff at the moment and I have had to report 8 of their listings tonight for stealing my pictures
If you are buying or selling Frozen dolls or costumes at the moment on ebay UK please be aware that this seller may have stolen your pics too, or that the item you are bidding on is *not* the one in the pictures

 updated 28th April:
After another week went by without contact or response to the qusetions in my last message, I got a message from the buyer again yesterday

Quote
Hello,No, only Anna was there. Thanks for replying anyway.

so I responded with this:

Quote
Hello ........ I'm extremely puzzled by this as 3 of us witnessed the packaging of these dolls, we have doll set reference numbers for our records and the post office receipt. I need you to answer the questions I sent you in my last email please. Do you have pictures of the box/ contents?  do you have pictures of the gift wrap ?  The two dolls and book were definitely in there and the weight/cost of postage also confirms this on our receipt , so I will have to pursue this matter further and take it up with the Post office/ Royal Mail. This is a very serious matter. Since the items were sent recorded the person who delivered the item/handled it can be traced. If items have been stolen then we must also involve the police as well as ebay.Could you please give this matter your immediate attention so we can take it further.Kind regards

and she responded soon after with:

Quote
Hi ........,I really don't know what has happened. I don't have the box, I took the doll out, stored it on a high shelf in my wardrobe and waited the week until her birthday. I threw the box away. Not checking and realizing was completely my fault, however I was receiving Kristoff and the others throughout the week and this is where I got muddled. I should have looked more carefully, checked things off and made contact immediately. Keeping the box etc and having evidence to show (with all that you have) that something had gone astray. This was my fault.Luckily I located an Elsa in a town not to far from here and drove there at midnight so my daughter had her for her birthday.I am not difficult person and am not disbelieving you. As you say, you have all of the evidence your end.Just a shame and an expensive. I was only checking with you in the first place in case you had made an innocent error.Kind regards ......

My last response was :

Quote
  Hi ......
Thank you for your fast response.
Firstly I'm really glad that you managed to get another Elsa doll for your daughters Bday. Its really very unfortunate though that you havent got the box or packaging/any evidence from the parcel that we sent you as we would have liked to have taken this matter up with the post office/police for our peace of mind and yours too. We try to take as many measures as possible to ensure that our customers are happy and get the items they paid for.  We appreciate your understanding and co-operation and we are sorry that things have turned out this wayIs there anything further you wish us to try to do to help you? or do we consider the matter closed?Kind regards and best wishes
........ and Family

Still dont know what to make of it, but she seems to want to let is go now (no pun intended! :P )
If this was innocent (and so I'm not including the buyers ID) then its a real shame she doesnt have any evidence/pics/packaging as it needed to be reported to Royal mail and the Police if a tracked and signed for parcel had really been tampered with and items stolen.
If it was an intended scam then she realises she cannot win a case and so she is backing out.
It still all sounds very odd though to me

...................... Original post........................

:(  This is a new one for me although I've heard of people claiming this before....
Let me explain my particular situation.

I sold a set of 2 disney Frozen dolls and a coloring book on ebay UK. I have sold a number of these over the last few months. I always send with tracking/delivery confirmation and I keep all of the receipts.
It was sent on 15th April, delivered on 16th April and there is a signature with a name that matches that of my ebay buyer when i check the royal mail website. OK... i havent heard anything until today (22nd April)
My buyer contacted me with this message

Quote
Hello,I ordered these dolls from you and they arrived promptly, with plenty of time before my daughter's birthday tomorrow.I opened the parcel slightly, saw the beautiful wrapping and left the parcel be.On sorting everything out tonight I only have Anna.I am in complete despair and was just wondering if by chance Elsa is still with you?My daughter will be heartbroken, I was so delighted to think I had been so organised.Kind regards

Now... I (along with hubby and mom) had packed each doll  and the book all seperately in its own matching giftwrap, bubble wrap, tissue, airbags, packing noodles and then I put them all  (3 seperate giftwrapped items) in a sturdy box with a note inside for the buyer, sealed the box, covered the box in brown parcel paper, and then completely sealed the brown paper all over with tape (clear tape over the address and my address) and brown tape everywhere else. Then I put "Fragile" tape around the box too.  I posted the parcel on 15th and she recieved it on 16th as I mentioned.

*The box is so well sealed in its double tape shell that you would literally have to cut it open to get anything out. It cannot be torn in transit

*I never sell the Anna dolls seperately

*I always keep dolls I have listed together seperate from other dolls in other listings etc and items so that they are the exact ones in the listing and they are already together ready to pack/post.

*I never heard from the seller to say the box looked tampered with or that anything was amiss although she has had it in her possession for  a week (according to the signature)

*My post office receipt has the correct weight for both dolls and book (938g) approx the same as the other sets I have been selling (which have arrived with no problems) and it was sent as a medium parcel as it was large and heavy at £6.75. (I have receipts for where I previously sold elsa dolls alone and they are showing approx half that weight  and go as a small parcel £4.30)

*3 of us checked that all items were correct and packed before I posted the parcel

* she would have to have unwrapped the doll to see it was Anna (she had said she wanted to keep it in the pretty wrapping paper and was sorting out her daughters presents last night) - and she would have been able to see only one doll if only one doll was in there in that big parcel all alone.

I responded with the following message:

Quote
Hi ------- . I'm so sorry to hear this. I have no idea what is going on as both Elsa and Anna were definitely sent together in the same box, each doll and book were all individually gift wrapped  in matching wrapping paper  then placed together in the box (so the box contained 3 gift wrapped parcels), air bags, bubble wrap, packing noodles , a card box, then brown parcel paper, then it was completely sealed in with tape all over  and then fragile tape on the outside too.  The box would have needed to be literally cut open to get to the contents inside . Both dolls and book were definitely sent together in the same box - I have had no Anna dolls for sale on their own and I have not have packed one alone. I only sell Anna paired up with Elsa and I keep each pair I list seperate in sets of two . I also have the post office receipt with  the weight for two dolls and tracking number. It would also have been signed for by you. Did the box look tampered with or damaged at the point you received it?  do you have pictures of the box and its contents?  The parcel weighs 938g on my receipt - which is the weight for two dolls and a book  (and is the same for the other sets of these dolls with a book that I sold recently), and it was sent medium parcel at £6.75.(single dolls weigh half this and go by small parcel at £4.30). I'm at a loss as to know what to do to be honest since both dolls were definitely in that box with the book as proven by the receipt. Myself , and two other family members all packed this parcel together so one or more of us would have known if anything was missing. Is there a chance that your daughter has already found her present and taken Elsa? or has someone else in your family moved the doll? please check your daughters room/other parts of the house just incase she found it and check with other family members too.Was the colouring book in the parcel or is that missing too? Please let me know as soon as possible.Best wishes

BUT

This buyer has 100% feedback and has been a member on ebay since 2005. She is mostly a buyer. On checking her feedback it doesnt look she she is in the habit of leaving bad feedback . I found one other example of an item she says was lost in the post a few years ago and the seller sent her a replacement. she left a positive. I havent found anything bad on her by doing a google search either   :awake:
She doesnt come across as a scammer. If someone has genuinely stolen her item then of course she would be devastated.... but something is off somewhere and  I'm confused with this one. Is there anything else I can do at this point? I'm awaiting a response from her.
If she still says she doesnt have the doll (its of course the more valuable one of the two   am I still going to have to refund or replace although its been a week since delivery and although I have signature and correct box weight as well as correct address on my PO receipt?
:what:

*Thanks , cookies, chocolates, and hugs for making it through that*  :grouphug:  Any advice is welcome

So I have a new update and warning for anyone thinking of risking dealing with this person.
I have had information come to light that this person is a known doll scalper and scammer who plagues Disney boards requesting to buy cheap then sells the dolls for crazy monies.  They also agree to many sales and then not go through with them  for various reasons (as in my own case :(  )   The other IDs this person goes by is Graemecookie  and Candymcook
Please AVOID dealing with this person.

New Update
Sooo after refusing to send my dolls, and  her rude message claiming  she hadnt got Anna and didnt intend to sell her on ebay then her final parting comment " Good luck getting them at that price again" - which if you read the message quoted a bit further on in this thread - is sarcastic and nasty, i reported her to ebay and still hadnt heard anything from ebay but I;ve kept an eye on her listings.
Guess what? just checked toystorycollector1987 s  current listing and now she has BOTH elsa and Anna up for sale  seperately at ridiculous prices!!

I have contacted ebay again. I know I found another set of these dolls now (and certainly a lot cheaper than those prices! :faint: ) but this seller should not be getting away with this  :(

UPDATE:

Guess what? I was spot on with my prediction. This morning, one morning after she refunded me and closed the case, She has my dolls relisted on ebay seperately - with pics of actual doll (elsa) and says she has Anna for sale too , listing soon - to try and get more money after she realised that the values had gone up since I won her presale auction last month -  and so she no longer wanted to sell to me
I have called ebay and reported her , they are going to check our correspondance, and I have also left her a negative feedback

lMy elsa doll is now relisted for sale , with mention of Anna doll for sale to :(

Orignal post:

ok..I'm normally here giving advice lol, but I think I need some help from you guys today. I dont think there's anything i can do.... but I'll tell you my story. You may also want to be wary of buying from this person :(

I won a pre-sale auction from UK seller toystorycollector1987 on 21st February for Disney Frozen limited edition Anna and ELsa dolls . They were due to be released  from disney Store on March 18th.  They were sold as a pre-order in US on January 10th, this seller got her order confirmed and then listed a pre-sale auction on ebay UK, which I won  (on feb 21st as mentioned) - both dolls together for £310. She said she would ship once she got them from US, so after March 18th. Good communication, no issues so far at this point.
but it didnt stay that way.  Yesterday ebay advised me over the phone to open a case since my seller stopped communicating with me on March 19th, no dolls, no nothing, and my time frame of 30 days getting close. So I opened the case.

Here is parts of a message I sent to ebay explaining what happened after I found that my case closed right away with a full refund.. parts are added to show you guys what happened too (its not as straight forward as a item not recieved case BTW so bear with me. I didnt send ebay any smilies in my message, I'm adding them so that you dont see a wall-o-text!! :P

hello, I just noticed my case closed without contact from the seller. She gave me a full refund. I did not ask for a full refund when I opened the case. I asked for tracking information on my missing doll and to still recieve the one doll she already has at her home - and that I still wanted both my dolls. Seller had already told me she had one of the dolls I bought and she had tracking on the other one. I told her in the case and through messages previously that even if she had not got the second doll, I still wanted the Elsa doll with a partial refund for the missing doll "
( Just to add that on ebay UK, asking for a partial *is* still one of the solutions that can be chosen as your preferred solution to a case  ;)    )

" Here is my concern. Disney Store sold these dolls Limited Edition as pre-order in January in USA, and then were supposed to sell them online here in the UK on 18th March. My seller had confirmation of receiving her order for both dolls (Anna and Elsa) from USA, and listed a pre-order auction in February (she listed in the auction that her order is confirmed so she would get the dolls) , which ended on 21st and I won the dolls for £310 with £40 shipping. I asked her on 17th March when i could expect the dolls and she told me that my Elsa doll had already arrived to her from US, she was just waiting on Anna. She had previosuly offered to also sell me a second set of these dolls as well for the same price I won the auction for. I refused at the time, but I asked about them later when I discovered what had happened in regards to disney store UK.
On 18th March Disney Store UK made a huge mess up and no-one in the UK got chance to buy any dolls from them. This made the value and demand in the UK increase rapidly :( . After this date the seller contacted me for the last time (march 19th) and wanted to give me full refund as she claimed one doll was missing (although she had order confirmation and tracking from Disney store US) She had already told me she had my other doll in hand on 17th March. I said no , I would wait, and even if the Anna doll never turned up I still wanted the Elsa doll, but I asked her to check her tracking on the anna doll again and to contact Disney Store US to find out when to expect delivery. seller stopped responding to me  .
I sent her further messages but no response. I opened a case this morning saying that I didnt want a refund, I wanted either the one doll she definitely has (Elsa), or I still wanted both dolls if possible and to let me know whats happening with the tracking on the other doll. Seller still did not respond and just issued a full refund to close the case without contacting me or getting ebay further invloved"  :yikes:
It is my belief and concern that the seller wanted to back out of this sale from 18th March when she admitted to me she knew what had happened with the Disney Store UK and that no-one in the UK got a chance to order them. I believe that she stopped contact and issued a full refund right away as she wants to resell these dolls(and the second set which she also offered to me originally via messages) to someone else on ebay, either through her current ID or another account she might have, for a lot more money now that she knows the value has gone up dramatically since I won the auction  :|  . I am very upset about this situation, and as the seller has issued a full refund she is hoping ebay will not see her messages or take any action    >_<
Could you tell me if there is anything I can do about this? :what:  I cannot force her to send my doll that she definitely has, but surely its breaking rules if she cancelled my sale only to resell my items for more money later? She also offered to sell me a second set of these dolls(not listed on ebay) for the same amount as the set I won ( its definitely against ebay rules to sell without listing) , and communication was great up until the point where she found out what had happened in the UK Disney Store and that the dolls that she sold me had at least doubled in value   (- if you check the listings for these dolls now you'll see what I mean! The (elsa from frozen limited edition) doll I won and that she admitted she had in her possession is selling on ebay for as much or more money than I paid for both dolls together in the auction I won in February!  :whoa:   :faint:  )

Can Ebay  check our correspondance and is there anything that can be done about this seller's behaviour?  :what:  I did send a message (parts of which are included here) to ebay this morning about the situation, but they just send me an automated email telling me to open a case for money back - when the case in question had already closed   I was hoping someone from ebay would investigate!  is there anything else I can do other than accept she refuses to send my dolls? sorry if this message gets a little confusing, I'm just feeling very upset and disappointed right now  .
I'm tempted to leave bad feedback too.
I've tried ebay support but getting no joy contacting them ATM by phone or email :stressed:

I would be very grateful if you all could give me some advice on this situation please    Its easy to remember the rules and advise others , but when its closer to home, it can make your mind go crazy! :drunk:
Thanks in advance! Oh and I think you guys need cookies and chocolate and coffee and ponies for getting through all of that!  :grouphug:

Hi all :)  its been a while since I was up to date and actively collecting all Barbie/Ken dolls so I need some advice.  I'm selling a duplicate MOC Ken Tuxedo outfit on Ebay - it was made in 2005.  I have a potential buyer but she wants to know if it will fit just normal Ken dolls or if it will also fit the slimmer "muse" mold body Ken too.  TBH I dont know and my other one is MOC too so I cant take it out to check   The back of the card says it fits most Ken dolls but that was written in 2005......Soooo I'm asking you  for help please
This is a link to my auction so you can see which outfit I;m talking about
