A user on Tumblr brought up that fact, also, citing Ed from Ed, Edd, and Eddy and Patrick Star from Spongebob.
Everyone loves these delightful forgetful clumsy characters, but the moment their name changes to "Derp" it's offensive. Makes no sense to me.

I had that barbie, too. But It was the Midge doll with the blue outfit.
I was obsessed with Barbie as a kid.
One of my favorites was this skipper doll with a bathing suit on. Her makeup was so beautiful. I played with her all the time.
I would die for some kind of guide that has all the 1990's barbies in it so I can see what they looked like when they were new with their accessories.

Scalpers are the bane of my existence. Every time I go to Ebay, rage ensues. I have even thought about giving up on collecting all together because of not being able to find the dolls.v Mattel's poor distribution plus the scalpers is ridiculous.
I would never pay 30+ bucks for a doll that is supposed to be out on shelves.
The stores should have a limit to one doll each per customer. If you need to buy an extra, bring a friend.

I went to Target yesterday (Thursday) and all they had was Skull Shores.
I went today and they had all the Sweet 1600 and two 2.0 Cleos....
You know what that means....
I MISSED OUT ON NEFERA AND OPERETTA!! UUGHHHAARGGHHH
So!! The stock DOES arrive on Friday. Looks like I'll have to be earlier next week.

I wasn't going to get Lagoona because I don't want too many duplicates but I saw her makeup and fell in love.
I have to say I had the same feeling. I swore I wouldn't buy duplicates, but then I see them and fall in love with their faces . And I also swore I won't buy that many but almost all the new dolls are amazing. the good thing is I don't love them all. I have my faves and that's what I'm sticking to, I hope.
Found Skull Shores Gill and Lagoona today. They were 11.99 each. Pretty awesome considering TRU was charging 17 bucks for them.
I wasn't going to get Lagoona because I don't want too many duplicates but I saw her makeup and fell in love.
Isn't her makeup delicious? I'm particularly fond of her little octopus earring and the tentacle/bubble heels.
Yes I know!! She is so amazing. I haven't taken her out of the box yet because I don't really have the room. But I must. She is so beautiful. Now I just need Cupid, Operetta and Nefera. :: sigh ::

That is how all of my Walmarts look. It's annoying. I've been going every day since after Christmas and every time I see an empty shelf it makes me want to give up looking in stores completely and stick to online orders.
