Posey Variant ID?

Alright ladies (and gentlecolts) I come in search of your Nirvana assistance.  I picked this girl up years ago at a local second hand sale.  I nearly left her behind as a fakie, but her hoof turned out to be stamped ©84 HASBRO (no other markings, no made in country.)  Besides that I know nothing about her, nor could I find any similar pony.  Admittedly I haven't looked too hard, since she's not really a favorite.  Edited to note: The Pat. Pend. part that is usually under the HASBRO in this mold is filled in, though slightly imperfectly.


Her hair is good quality, comparable to the standard US/Canada releases. Her mane is two full rows, though the spacing is a bit thinner than most G1's  I haven't opened her up to look inside, though one side of her neck is partially loose, the other is still factory sealed.  Her eyes look like they were done with shoddy spraygun stencils. Her body color isn't photographing too well under indoor lighting (I'll try to grab some outdoor shots tomorrow, it's dark right now) but it's the oddest shade of ... dark desaturated plum I've ever seen on a My Little Pony.


Any clue where she's from? Anyone seen this particular pony before?

There have been Colombian ponies found in Europe before too, ponies sure can travel I'd love to hear their stories too.

Yours is only the 2nd Venezuelan Posey to appear so far (that we know of, the other is green), and I don't think we've seen a Venezuelan in that color scheme yet.

They certainly do, I found a Macau Lemondrop in a field (car boot sale) in Yorkshire

Yup...holidays and certain industries mean ponies and people move all over the globe!

She certainly does look like a Venezuelan - congrats! Now thats a pretty amazing find and she looks in gorgeous condition!
