It has come to light yesterday that a member of this forum was promising people goods and then taking their money. the money part is extremely disturbing, but probably equally disturbing is the fact that these people did not get items that they really wanted.
saply helped me get the item I wanted, but there are still others out there who haven't yet! And that's what this thread is for.
If you are someone who was scammed, I was wondering if you could please list what you were supposed to receive, so maybe one of the members of this forum could help you get what you were promised by ponyadore but did not receive.
Also, if anyone has a :muffin: Pony for saply, she was kind enough to sell me hers at the end of all the nonsense yesterday, so if you have one that you'd like to sell, please contact her first. She deserves it for being awesomely selfless in this whole thing.

I've been scammed too, since i've paid her 235$ for a FS :muffin: Pony.
I still don't understand what happened, but she has refunded me and i was so happy about it, but only today i've discovered that, since i've paid her 100$ with balance in my paypal account and 135$ from my cc, i will receive back only the money paid with balance.
I've just called paypal and they were not able to give me an answer...sigh....

Oh NO! You need to contact your credit card company IMMEDIATELY and see if you can get the money! You have evidence that you were scammed, they will be able to work with you.
And you are in need of a FS :muffin: Pony, I will make a note of it.

Hi! Sadly, the reason I registered at this site is that I saw you posted photos that I made as coming from scammer.
My story here: I was selling two :muffin: Ponies at another pony site. One of them is sold, shipped and delivered, and buyer is happy with her. Buyer for other kept delaying payment for reason I found a bit suspicious, but not much. Two days ago I was told that buyer is finally ready to pay and asked for additional photos. That :muffin: Pony has small distinguishing rub on her cutie mark.
Today I saw topics about scam at that another site and emailed that buyer person I wish to provide evidence I really have :muffin: Pony. I've sent one photo with my custom oc and timestamp that says "20.04.2012 16:18 (GMT +4)". And later this day I've found my previous photos here...
I've emailed LadyGuinevere as soon I saw my photos. (She's the only admin with email visible to unregistered users). Waiting for reply now.
I feel really horrible about all of this. I still have one :muffin: Pony that person tried to buy from me, as I wasn't paid. And three more :muffin: Pony will soon arrive to me (I got really lucky with taobao that time). I'm willing to offer them to people who suffered from this scam at whatever price they consider fair.
I do understand that it sounds very shady, especially with all this mess. That's why I'll build some feedback first, by selling common ponies. For example, I can try to find Rainbow Flash and Daisy Dreams G4 exclusives, as they are still in stores here. I'll make selling post later, at appropriate place.
If you're interested, let me know, I'll hold her for you.

probably the best thing you could do right now is post some new pictures with a calendar in it or something with today's date circled just to prove you actually have the doll. That will probably be proof enough. If you can send the pony out with a tracking number of some kind, it will be just fine, I think. :)

I hate to say it, but when it sounds too good to be true, it probably is. Those mountain boys ALONE should fetch 2-3x more than she was asking. There is no way anyone who knew what they had would sell a lot like that for 155$, ever. :(
I'm so sorry for everyone who has been disappointed by this person, but there is a valuable lesson here to be learned. When someone comes along promising all sorts of highly sought after ponies for rock bottom prices, you should be very suspicious.

As for tracking number - I think it's really hard to send something without one, at least internationally.

Thanks Panda and Kiwi, I live in Australia if you want to figure costs to post.
Though the MIB FS ponies were what I was really upset about, the Blind Bags were just chucked in there. I'd be okay if I didn't get the BBs but it doesn't look like I'll be able to get the FS ponies until they're released here again.
At the moment I just want my money back. Have people had success in getting refunds so far? I've already escalated straight to a claim.

I can also confirm that Itajn is who she says she is, I was the person who initially posted about this scammer being on the Arena at the other site and Itajn posted about getting caught up in this mess because of her pics being stolen. She seems like a nice, honest person who just had the unfortunate luck of being taken advantage of by ponyadore like so many others.

TL Squiggle, I've seen Twilight and Fluttershy in stores near me recently! I'll snag them after work tomorrow if possible. If you don't want them, I can always return them. No luck on Applejack though; she's not in my area at all anymore.

Hey sorry to ask this question again but has everyone opened their claims fast enough? All these scams seemed to happen relatively quickly. Did everyone have a chance to get their money back?
I know people still want their ponies but I'm just hoping that everyone made the claims fast enough.

I just saw FS Twlight and Fluttershy at the target here today, if for some reason no one else can get them, let me know and I can get them over the weekend. I can probably get Bumblesweet too, my TRU has 2 blindbag boxes, I'm sure there's at least one of her in there.

Sosilver -call your bank, they should be able to do a chargeback on your card if the money was taken straight from there. Hope you get your money back! :(
I have access to FS Twilight, Rainbow Dash and Pinkie although they are expensive here (£12-15) so it may be better for someone in the US to sell theirs. I also have some of the wave 3 brushables, and can get the wave 3 blind bags / other UK exclusive merch.

I've watched this whole happening since yesterday and I'm quite disappointed in the sellers response. In fact I'd call ponyadore a fail troll, that last post made by them was just... Fail.
I'm sad for all for you, but the only pony I have that's listed is bumblesweet and her card which I I put in a plastic protective pocket. :/

I'm going to do my best to get my money back, if Paypal falls through (as some people in the past have said it probably will) I'm going to take this to the bank and make sure I get every single cent back! *shakes fist*

I'm not sure how it works in Australia, but here in the US, the bank won't do anything until you've tried everything possible with PayPal. Keep track of who you talk to (if you call) and copies of the e-mails with PayPal. The bank will probably need them. Even though it may seem odd, you should probably also bring in a printout of the thread about the scammer and all PM's to prove that you were scammed. If PayPal won't help you, you can go to the bank and they should give you provisional credit on the funds while they deal with PayPal/police to get your money back.
The fact that you are in Australia makes this an international crime. I'm not sure if Australia has anything like the IC3, but you may be able to file a report about international fraud. Here in the US, we can file reports at ic3.gov, which is the Internet Crimes Complaint Center, a branch of the FBI. They take these reports seriously and do go after the scammer. I was scammed on eBay once, filed a complaint, and they caught the guy and sent him to jail 6 years later!

I had a mostly successful hunt today! Found Bumblesweet blind bag and FS Fluttershy. All the Twilight Sparkles were gone, unfortunately.

I'd like to thank everybody for the offers for help but I think I'm going to just be patient for them to re-release and sell in the stores here. Buying from overseas would cost over twice the price with all the shipping costs and if I buy in-store I can ensure they stay perfectly MIB.

Luckily I'm not conned out of the ponies I had agreed to trade her since I made her ship first (which I doubt she has, but they will be returned if they do show up), and the ones she had promised me I have been able to find from another member already.
I just wish I had ponies to offer everyone else but my trade box is empty right now :( I hope you all find what you were after.

I made my claim the instant I found out about the scam.. It ends on the 29th, and it's clear that she isn't going to respond (silly troll) so I am pretty well assured that I am getting that money back.
Kappa (Sara) has been kind enough to order the shirt I wanted for me, so I'm getting my grail after all thanks to her. :happy:

T.L.Squiggle - I have an extra MIB FS Twilight Sparkle that I got for $5. If you want her I'm sure I could find a FS Fluttershy and I might be able to find the blind bags... shipping might not be horrible if I used a flat rate box. If you want me to check, gimme a yell.
