Pony Corral / Re: The definition of "mainstream"...
« on: September 25, 2017, 09:58:23 PM »
I tend to define ponies by either where they were made or where they were sold, so I have started to refer to them in general as "made in hong kong/china", "not made in HK/china", US, Euro, and varients

I have to admit, I tend to forget ones like CP AJ and Bowtie, or I call them varients because they came out after the US shy pose ones, I think the year after?

One guess who I picked...

Bluebelle, of course!  My obsession with her started with my first 'white' one, she was actually my very first Bluebelle.   Whether it's some super strange fading, color leaching out like regrind, plasticizer, or factory error, I just love my weirdos, and then I fell for the normal ones, too!

If you don't mind me asking what pony did you purchase?

NP means it was a "non pony" purchase. :)

MLP Nirvana / Re: Greek Candle Pony question

Would getting a greek peachy or cotton candy to be a 'donor pony' work, or is it too different of a color from theirs?

Pony Corral / Re: Archive of the FiM subforum?

As far as I know and have seen, if the threads in the subforum were going to be deleted, they would come out and say so; they would not keep repeating the threads will be archived.

as long as it is for *short term*, like a week or so at most, it's probably ok, but if the stuffing is squished for too long, they won't puff back up correctly...I learned that the hard way!

yep, I still see them at Ross, DD's Discounts, Marshalls, and TJ Maxx on a regular basis, not every day I go into them, but often. :)

Bubbles head looks funny, is it one of the odd ones with a collector pose head instead of the sitting head?

fe loves throwing curve balls at us all, doesnt it?

I won't be able to do much for the next few days, my best friend Jen, her father passed away about half an hour ago. I am at her house out in the country helping out, so I will have limited internet.  I've been working for the family as a caretaker already, so I can be there to help grandma out so Jen and her mom can deal with what they have to deal with.

I didnt grow up with Jens family as such, they live too far out for me to have gone to their place very often as a kid, but he always told people I was his daughter, too, so I'm pretty numb myself.  I figure I can at least be there for them, and do anything I can to make this easier to go through.

Toy Box & Games Cupboard / Re: Pokémon Go! Lapras and Articuno
« on: July 23, 2017, 11:54:11 AM »
Currently about 17 hours left for +3 candies for catches, 1/3 walking time on eggs (only on new ones started)  and buddy candies, double xp and stardust. :)

AND, go raiding for Lapras and Articuno!  If one pops up close enough to you and ypu have the time to wait, I would head to it, people will show up.  Last night, in my little town, 19 people met up and together we beat Articuno, and with using golden berries, right around *half* of us caught it.  Much better than the 2% chance most sites are saying you have, and that was the first raid we had that many people at. :) only a few knew each other at all, but with 2 hours to beat it, thats plenty of timw for people to spot it and head over. :)

There's 3 half hour blocks that worldwide catches count toward a mystery event in Chicago. :)  they are planned for the Chicago time zone, though, so for here in California, they start at like 9 or 9:30 am

28
I'm hoping regionals worldwide are the 'mystery prize' that can be unlocked by trainers at Chicago catching enough pokemon to get to the gold level; a legendaries event would be awesome, too!

Some unexpected bills(and vacation over spending) mean these ponies need to go ASAP, so they are priced to MOVE. Payment by paypal, and shipping will be based on 6 ounces from 95315, if it's less, I will refund the difference, and if it's more, I'll pay the difference. :)

Pics in here, still figuring put how to link this properly:

I have found a useful trick, haha!  The other day, I took down a gym, and put in my pokemon. Just a couple of minutes later, someone pulls up and starts battling my pokemon, long before it reached the 10 minute mark (when you get a coin),  so I kept waiting till they got it down to where one more battle would knock it out...then feeding it a golden raspberry, sending it back up to full strength.  After the fourth or fifth berry, they gave up, haha!
