How many people know you collect?

I think the majority of my friends know I collect. Only a couple of my friends have seen my entire collection. I don't really bring it up much because no one around me is a collector so they just don't get my fascination with mlp. However, I do tend to meet random mlp fans when I wear my mlp t shirts and sometimes people will stop me and we will get into a mlp convo. It's pretty cool finding people that understand and share your interest. I also go on and on about pony talk with my husband.

In my case - I don't hide it My family, my bf, friends and people from my work - everyone knows I'm writing sometimes notes at my fb so anyone who is my fb friend can see it.

I tell anyone who asks! My family knows and is supportive, my moms best friend is a huge thrifter and antiquer so she is always on the look out!

I've also got friends I've meet from other countries on the look out!

Well this one is kind of hard to only pick to at the top. Most of my family knows that I collect ponies. When I hunny first found out I think he thought I was a bit weird. But now he encourages it I have friends that know at work and school. I post things on my face book page so I am not hiding it at all. I also have pony shoelaces on my work shoes and have people seen them also. I have gotten some negative things said to me so I don't go around telling everyone.

I'm a bit shy but I basically tell people even if they don't ask, it's fun to bring up in conversation and I'm always kinda of hoping that some day someone will say that they still have their childhood ponies and would I like to have them?

This has happened several times for me in the last year or so, actually. Its pretty awesome. Usually ponies I already have, but still awesome.

A few friends and family members know, but out of those only 2 family members have seen my whole collection. One of my friends have seen the ones I had out when they were getting ready to be cleaned and really took an interest and the only reason she didn't see the whole room was at the time they were mostly still in totes.

My family know, some friend, some people at my work know I love MLP, but I don't think they realize that I collect them.
I don't talk about it often, it's not a subject I will rise myself, but if it come to it, for any reason, I don't haveproblem talking about it.

My family, friends and co-workers know I collect.  Actually, at this point, I think everyone knows.  I'm very vocal about it and I have no shame in hiding it.  In fact, when my grandma came to visit me a little while ago, I got super excited to show off my completed MLP trading card collection and some of my figures.

I figure if you really like something and you enjoy it, why not share it with the world?  As long as it's not too out there, that is.

Everyone! I even have pony bumper stickers. I have' had coworkers inquire about them and I explain the reasoning behind them.

Most people at work know I collect, my family knows I collect, and friends. And it benefits because people have brought me pony gifts.

everyone knows i collect, all my family across a few provinces in Canada as well as Australia and Scotland where the rest of my family is.

all my boyfriends family, all my co workers and anyone i talk to on facebook in the hopes they have ponies and i can get more

i always ask people if they have any and most are on the look out for ponies for me. i call them a part of the "pony army"
