Hey there!
I am 40 and just finally pulled my childhood ponies out of storage. I brought them from South Africa to the USA. I am currently living in Virginia. My main interest is collecting and restoring G1 ponies. I have wanted to collect since I got my first ponies, Windy and Sky Dancer, at the age of 7. I am really excited to be here and how well my ponies are cleaning up. It'll be really nice to meet some people who share my love of ponies with!

You might find some interesting information about your childhood ponies in the Nirvana forum if they are South African ponies?  Enjoy the forum! :)

Welcome to the Arena! Are you familiar with nirvana ponies? South Africans are very very rare so I second you checking out the nirvana forum :D Windy and Skydancer are very nice ponies, the rainbow set is a classic :)

Thank you Safflower! I have looked at the Nirvarna page and I have a SA Heartthrob! I had No idea they were so rear. I also had a Seashell that seems to be missing, I hope I didn't give her away at some point. So glad I found the arena and looking forward to meeting people and gaining knowledge!

Wow, that is awesome! I hope you find your Seashell :D If you want some more info, here is a spotlight on them :) Here is some info on distribution and such plus a thread with some pics. There is also the nirvana gallery, here is the page for SA.
