Your watercolors are beautiful.  I'm curious.  Do work on multiple pieces at once to avoid the boredom that sets in waiting for them to dry?  (maybe I'm the only one with this problem) or do you color block with light washes on a single piece?  Your colors always very crisp where they meet to me.

Thank you! And thanks for your question! I do usually have 2-3 pieces going at once so I can move between them as they dry. Of course sometimes I don't want it all the way dry, just less wet. I endeavor to always practice what I call "strategic patience". 

Right now I am working on Flurry from last week's Draw Together, Drummer for the Christmas comp, and three little fox kits for my Etsy store.

Despite the low resolution these are all gorgeous and wonderful pieces. I was so very lucky to get to see many of these in person over the weekend. And the vibrancy of the colors and the warm feel of each piece is priceless! All are gorgeous pieces! No one whos a pony fan would be saddened in the quality and craftsmanship PonyQueen has to offer.

Holy cow; you've been busy!!  I love all of the Christmas paintings, especially 6 Geese a Laying

Love the santa baby illustration! Something about spike and his pose really tickles me!
And 6 geese a laying looks great too. Your paintings with ponies in landscapes, and the geese and the car as well are really wonderful. I love seeing your pieces where you're putting ponies in a more "realistic" setting

Thanks! I really like mixing ponies and realistic landscapes/props. I have more planned!

Gallery update: I still have a BUNCH of new paintings I want to share, but I seem to have reached tilt on my thread! Photobucket won't let me paste more photos!  So over the next few weeks I'll work on overhauling the page, maybe put some things behind spoilers or remove altogether? Or perhaps I will open an auxiliary wing gallery space (ie a new thread! lol)
