Hello all

In 2011 I made an agreement with someone to make some artwork for my website. I had done this with her before and while I sometimes had to wait a little bit, the drawings always ended up amazing and there never was any issue.

For the 2011 agreement, I paid partially with PG (an online currency on pony island) and partially with USD. It were quite a few drawings we had agreed upon, so I was really patient and for the first half year, drawings showed up in my mailbox every once in a while so I had no reason to complain. I didn't want to rush her (can't rush art!) and I was confident she'd finish them eventually or that she'd communicate with me if it wasn't possible for whatever reason.

However I haven't heard a thing from her since May 3, 2012. I completely understand if she's busy or that RL got in the way, but I haven't gotten a single reply to any of my messages and I'm starting to get worried. I'd love to get my drawings but if that's not possible I don't mind, but I'd really like my USD back in that case. I don't even care about the online currency.

As I paid ages ago, I can't file a paypal complaint or anything. I tried to message her on several different boards and websites, but so far I haven't gotten a single reply and as far as I can tell she hasn't even read my messages.

Anyone any idea what I can do? :/

It's been almost 14 months since you heard from her? Wow!

I have a morbid mind, I guess, but that's a crazy long time. I hope she's still alive.

HawaiianRain has a great suggestion. Because I am not sure what else can be done since so much time has passed since the original transaction.

Well, to my huge surprise she actually replied to one of my messages (I send out a bunch once more at the same time as I posted this post), saying she forgot and that she'd get to them right away.

Because of my positive experiences with her in the past I'll give her the benefit of the doubt for now

Thanks for the tips everyone, I'll definately follow up on them if she disappears again!

That's still well over a year without any update. :/ I wouldn't be anywhere near as accommodating as you've been!

In my opinion your too nice

I've never "forgotten" about a commission.
