Paypal users, need a little er.. help [fixed :)]

Recently I was buying some ponies here on the arena from a member and sent the payment through paypal. she told me she didn't get the payment and regave me her email for paypal. I did a double check and the first time she gave me the email she left one digit off.


So I had to cancel the payment and now it's on 'temporary hold'. How long do they tend to keep it like this after a payment has been canceled? It's only been about a day but I'm getting a little antsy because the ponies I was buying was a payment to a friend of mine who was giving me something else...

Generally if you go into the transaction details it may tell you how long. Or on the main page does it list money as pending and hand a little link to get more info?

Best bet would be to call PayPal I think.

When I canceled the payment and went to details it gave me this

No amount of time given and I certainly haven't gotten any email yet

I'd say call them in the morning then or give them a day. I called them once about a payment on hold and they worked with me over the phone to get it released.

I had this happen recently with an ebay seller who had an unregistered paypal address. I had my money back in my paypal account in a few days

I guess I need to give it a few days, not that I want to. Glacia, did they send you an email about it?

I'd have to doublecheck, but I don't believe so. I found out I had my money back when checking my paypal account for something else.

Paypal can be such a pain! it would help if they let you kn ow when to expect the payment back.. but like Glacia said, they usually dont   you should have the payment back in a couple of days, but it wont hurt to give 'em a call if you need it sooner

I'll wait till tomorrow and give them a call... because it's been a few days now and nothing
