New Hunter Leisure Plushies?

I got these guys at an event, in an MLP themed show bag.

I've never seen or heard of these before, so I was wondering if you guys had seen them before.

Their tags have the Hunter Leisure logo, and a Hasbro copyright 2014, so I assume that means they're licensed and fairly new.

It looks like Hunter Leisure makes them (they also import toys to Australia, but it seems they produce these themselves), though they are quite different from the ribbon-haired ones they make. So far it's just these four, which is the same as the ribbon-haired ones.

Did you get those in an Ekka show bag? I saw in the paper that the MLP bag had the Hunter Leisure ponies but the picture was of the ribbon haired ones. Maybe they're stepping up their game.

They look like the crane machine ponies who've popped up in other countries.

Yep! All four of them and some little stuff were in the bag. They were also selling the individual plushies separately, but only Pinkie and Twilight. They didn't have any of the ribbon-haired ones there, so the picture might be recycled from last year or something.

I thought they looked like the (Japanese) crane machine ones too, but I compared them and they are definitely different. It's especially evident in the wings.

I have that exact Pinkie. Nabbed her from a crane game here in Tasmania I've also seen Fluttershy for sure, but you may be right about the wings. Pinkie's hair was shedding in clumps when I tried to comb it gently; Hunter Leisure don't make very good plushies.

Hunter have been licensed for MLP plush since the start of G3 They had a line of G4 which was kind of Funrise inspired; this looks FurYu inspired now Very cool!

I saw these in a crane game earlier this year. There was only one of each character put in and they went rather quick, I was hoping they would pop up in another place. When I went to the Royal Melbourne Show last year the pony showbag was the first place I found the 10cm tall fabric-strand haired plush, just before they hit store shelves, so hopefully this means the fluffy hairs will be distributed other places as well.

Those are cute! They did pop up in countries other than the US a while back, I've seen them on ebay and Taobao but they are always very expensive...

That's great they are finally making their way over!
