Does anyone have a YoSD volks girls? How do they compare to FL Littlefee?

I'm really liking the look of the Volks sculpts but they're a little expensive.

Volks doesn't have any standard model YoSD, the only way to get them is via lottery (you win the right to buy) or through the secondary market so they are not as easily available as Littlefees. Littlefees tend to be a bit more flexible, they have another joint in their torso which YoSD do not. I prefer the Littlefee faceplates system honestly Generally prices tend to be higher for YoSD than Littlefee but if you are patient sometimes you can get a good deal.

I think you're paying for the name with Volks.  I've seen them and they are gorgeous and pose beautifully. The first girl that got me into BJDs was SD16 Johanna.

I agree skyrocketneko. I was looking at DOA, some are reasonably priced (well for me) and some are so high it scares me a little.

Their heads look about the same size as LTF. Are they? I prefer my dolls with slightly larger heads (I have a MadHatter fetish I think)

I will say Hina Ichigo and Lorina cost me a pretty penny when I got them (think both of them were in the $550 range) but both of them were full sets (and gifts). My other two girls as well as my Lillie who I no longer have were right around MSRP or lower, Yuki was only $200 (very motivated seller on DoA who needed money that day for another doll); Lillie and Papi were $300-$400 each.

I think the heads are slightly larger but not too much of a difference.  Some of the molds are more popular than others, some get rereleased and then their values crash a bit (like Papi's did, my Papi is a version 1 I bought right around the time version 2 flooded the market). Really between 300-400 isn't bad at all. Thats what you'd pay for a LTF as well.

After looking through sculpts for awhile yesterday and today, I think I like the tanpopo sculpt the best. I think it's the big doe eyed look.

Volks YOSD <3 Congrats!! I hope you get to bring one home!

I love Hina Ichigo. I had a Lorina, but her nose threw me off and I parted ways with her. I think I bought her since she reminded me of Mamu and that is my current grail doll. I love my twins, SwD Rengemaru and Rengemaru.

I paid $450 for both mine, $500 for Lorina. Second Market Prices though are what kill me. I fully expect to pay $800 + for Mamu   u_u
