The distribution problems that marked older generations seem to have plagued G4 as well, near as i can tell. For the movie we had good stuff at Walmart and there were some big playsets that were gone quick, but sincd then very few things have happened since, finally the new mold stuff came out and i got the $10 pearly fs Celestia with the cheaply done glittery wings. The toy sections have definitely shrunk and for me, pony hunting means the thrift store where once in a while i get a G3, and occasionally an older G4 item shows up at Ross. Post Merge: March 06, 2019, 04:00:48 AMt where kids could "swoop" the pony through the playset and they would "magically" get dressed
Yes, "kids", that's right...that one was near me when i didnt have money for it, so i (ehem i mean kids) didnt get to swoop any ponies into spring clip dresses.

This idea turned out so much harder than i expected, but then it always seems that way! This is my first time drawing more than one pony in the same place, thanks for making me do it! Please pardon my rough effort, after ruminating on it all month i ended up with only a little over an hour to actually draw, ha. Totally botched the train... Yaay thrift finds from the last months. I dont find G1s or even MLP every time i go, but popping into a couple of big thrifts at least twice per week does yield some finds. Baby Glory was from a used toys store last week where ive never found a G1 before and she's got a few age spots but i still love her, i just loove BBEs, and i was so happy to get 2 G1s in a mixed bag for $3 the other day but i was like, Skydancer smells like peach? Parasol has what looks like an original tailbow and the hair is too good to be decades-old played toys...thats when i flipped them over and sure enough, 2017 Bridge Direct repros. But, theyre really nice! A bit hard, but molds are so perfect and since i am deathly allergic to almost all regular perfumes the stable, non-aromatic scents impregnated in ponies give me a chance to enjoy scented things that don't hurt me, and i never saw these on retail shelves around me so theyre still a happy find! (For the record the Buildabear plush scents are also completely non-irritating so i definitely recommend those!) I end up dragging home so much non-mlp stuff tho including some fun Schliesh animals and Breyer horses and i reall like the 2" tall scale Funrise realistic horses and whatnot so i guess i'll keep editing this post to add in more pics of stuff for a while?
