I echo wanting to see Minty! I would also love to see some more of the blind bag ponies released as brushables, especially Berryshine, Honeybelle (this pony is gorgeous-- I love her bold colors and she's a yellow unicorn which Hasbro doesn't have nearly enough of!), Lemon Hearts, and Firecracker Burst.

I have always wondered this, and have never seen it discussed. And I know there isn't a lot of G2 talk out there anyway, so I thought it would make an interesting discussion.
The G2's originally were sold everywhere, but after 1998 Hasbro stopped production in the US, and maybe Canada too? But I'm not sure. All of the G2's from 1999 onward were sold in Europe only. And I was wondering, who designed the European G2's? Were they designed by the main company (US Hasbro), or do you think that one of the European branches of Hasbro designed them?

I concur about Bubbles! I've been hunting for a nice one too.
But yeah, I think G1 ponies are definitely becoming rarer to find as time goes on. Not only because the secondhand supply is drying up, but also because there are more collectors hanging onto them.

I was pretty careful with my ponies when I was little... I only lost Backstroke's float, and one of the Dibbles/Nibbles twins... I think I lost the orange one if I'm remembering correctly! I still don't know what happened to her. I had most if not all of the original accessories that came with my ponies, and I had all of the backcards too for a long time, but my mom threw them out when I was around 11 or 12! Why, I don't know... she was usually so good about letting me keep stuff. Most of my childhood ponies were sold in a garage sale when I was 14 though... I only have Lucky and Starry Wings left! I saved them because they were my favorites. <3 But I do wish I still had all of my other childhood ponies! I don't think I have ever misplaced anything as an adult, however. I keep all of my ponies displayed and together, and all of the accessories are labeled in baggies. Yes, I keep my collection very organized.
