First look at LE 17" Elsa!!!

She is gorgeous!

Ooh look at the snowflakes in her hair! It looks like she has the very pale skin like Snow White

I think she does look less abstract than the others in this series. The others interpreted the character's outfit with a 'twist' eg snow white had the exaggerated ruff around her neck, and jewellery, Rapunzel had crazy sleeves, Ariel was very very different from her cartoon counterpart. I need to see more pictures

I don't think she belongs to that series of dolls. I think she is just a limited release due to the movie coming out soon.

I love her dress but that side ways glance is ruining her for me. What is needing to look at so bad that her eyes are buried on one side.

The snowflakes are really pretty and her dress looks gorgeous, but NOT sure I need her But it is really nice, Time to see Anna!

She belongs to the series alright, they have some dolls in this series that don't look like they belong (like Jack and Sally) but they do.  Elsa really fits in nicely with the other princesses.

...but she needs some more oomph! 

She is rather plain in my opinion and a tiny bit cheap looking.  Sort of the same way I felt about Cinderella.  Actually, Elsa is WAY better than Cindy was for many reasons, but I still think they could have done more.  Maybe a sheer layer of her cape swirled out around her, or more tiny delicate snowflakes in plastic (not crystal beads but formed icy snowflakes).  Something to give her more "wow".

I think she is very pretty but I agree with you Marigold. I was expecting more of a wow factor that included more sparkles

That Designer Elsa is very pretty but she does seem to be a little plain for a designer doll.

I'm still trying to figure out the differences between the Disney Store Elsa and Disney Boutique Elsa. So far it looks like the Disney Store version has more details than the Disney Boutique version.  Can anyone post pictures of both dolls for me?

I can't find pics right now This is how I see it though;

The normal 17" normal 'play' Elsa and 'LE' Elsa share the exact same head mould. The LE has more detailed face painting and 'real' eyelashes.

'Play' Elsa, is a singing doll like all the other 17" Play versions. She sings part of her song (Let it Go) and there is a compartment in her back for batteries, and, most uniquely; her elbows to hands are transparent plastic and glow blue!

LE Elsa does not sing (none of the LE's do) has more detailed clothing, though both look to me like they use a lot of glitter (hard to tell from image) , LE seems to have softer fabrics and apparently has rhinestones in her dress, and in the snowflakes in her hair. I would hope that what I think is Glitter on the LE is actually embroidery.

The LE and Play have very similar hair styles in my opinion

I really hope they make more couples dolls! I guess the next ones would be:

Aurora/Phillip
Cinderella/Charming
Pocahontas/John Smith (even though she ended up with John Rolfe in the sequel, they'd probably still put her with John Smith)
Mulan/Shang
Tiana/Naveen

Would LOVE to see Giselle/Robert and Esmeralda/Phoebus!

I'd love to see couple dolls of:
Meg/Hercules
Jane/Tarzan
Maddallaine/Quasimodo

That's what I think too *__* She looks so lonely.

And I like how, although the doll is smiling, she has the same relaxed soft expression eyebrows (rather than sharp expression)
