It´s not toys exactly, but I collect the Sweet Valley High-books by Francine Pascal. They´re pure and utter crap, but I love them to death.

Love this thread :) Most of the other 80s toys collections I have are saved from childhood but I have also added to a few collections as well. Besides ponies I also have Strawberry Shortcake (dolls), Rainbow Brite, Lady Lovely Locks, Fashion Star Fillies, Care Bears (plush),  Little Pretties, Sylvanians/Maple Town, and Monchhichi. I really love other 80s toys and have odds and ends like a couple Polly Pockets, Blinky and Ursa Moondreamers,  Gloworm finger puppet and a Shimmer figure but nothing that really constitutes a collection.

I also collect ninja turtles but the toy line started in 1990 so not sure if that counts or not!  visitors can't see pics , please register or login

Rainbow Brite, Moondreamers, Shimmers, Star Fairies, and Strawberry Shortcake (but just the foreign dolls and berrykins and prototypes).

I used to collect Lady Lovelylocks and Rose Petal Place, but sold most of them off in an effort to downsize.

I would like to downsize more, (except Rainbow Brite and Shimmers and small foreign SSC) but it is difficult.  I do love my dolls PLUS I don't have a ton of free time so it isn't really worth it to sell ow value things (which is a lot) but large lots are not usually very appealing to people.

Adding some photos for fun...  is anyone in the market for a complete collection of Star Fairies? Lol

I've cut way back over the years, but I still love my Fairy Tail Birds!

They now 'live' in a curio cabinet, but I like this picture.  :)

I LOVE Fairy Tails! So hard not to collect them, lol  especially when they go so well with MLP!  (As to Moondreamers)

Lovely collection! I especially love the tiny ones, I've never seen them in person before.

I've been collecting Tamagotchis since their G1 days. I also sort of collect Rainbow Brite and Strawbery Shortcake.
 Looking for G1 Starshine, Bubbles, Lickety Split, Posey, Tickle, and a few more

Oh, I focus mostly on MLP but if the opportunity presents itself I'll gladly pick up some other 80's toys at flea markets. Not that any of the collections below are as impressive as my MLP collection, but here it goes;

° Polly Pocket
° Tyco Quints/Cousins
° Puppy in My Pocket
° Lady Lovely Locks

I'll also like to start collecting Keypers one of these days... ^.^

Thank you!  I used to have some close-up pics of the tinies.  But I am not sure I still have those pics now.  I may have to try for more sometime.

I resist the tentation of non-pony toys for the moment but.... I´m putting my eye on Care Bears, Moondreamers, Rainbow Brite and Popples.

Here's an impression of my other collections:

I do have lots of Care Bear plushies as well, but those are the new versions, not the 80's ones. But I do have two eighties sticker albums of Care Bears, Dutch ones. And another major collection is Barbie, but that's not necessarily eighties ^_^

I mainly collect the Kenner Littlest Pet shop, but I do have a pretty good collection of Polly Pockets and Grand Champions :) Love those horses, lol!!! I also look for the original Nancy Drew books when I go to antique stores (the blue fabric covers, not the yellow covers).
