I missed out on the birds but I've fixed up my account to accept newsletters by email, I had it turned off. However I did pick up Darkrai yesterday. The poor guy at gamestop was pacing the store the mall was empty with it being nice outside

Just a funny little story...

I went out on Sunday morning to make sure I was able to get a Darkrai plush. So my husband and I had planned on doing separate transactions so we could buy two of them (just in case they'd only allow us to buy one each), because my friend and I have decided that if we see any of the 20th anniversary merch, we'd buy one for ourselves and one for the other. This was the only month that he actually wanted the plush, pin, and figure. Anyway, we're at the store and there's a kid in line with us that was playing his 3DS and was super excited because Darkrai is his favorite legendary. He really wanted the plush, so I got the one for myself and he was able to get the only other one that the store got in. I felt a little bad, since I wasn't sure if my friend and his wife were able to go out that morning for the plush, so I figured I'd keep quiet about the plush until he would inevitably ask me about it the next time he came to our house. At the same time, that kid was so happy that I was just glad he was getting it and not some scalper.

So yesterday, we're at Target, and I see the Darkrai pin/card boxes. I sent my friend a text to let him know that I could pick one up for him, and he said it's fine and that he'd get one later, but asked if I had gotten the Darkrai plush. I told him yes, but that I really did intend to get him one as well, and he was like "That's good! I got one too, but they only had two so I wasn't able to buy you one." I just thought it was pretty funny that we both had the exact same situation on Sunday morning.

You have to be subscribed to the Pokemon newsletter email. They sent the codes that way.

What?! That's dumb! Only the pin wasn't supposed to be sold on Sunday, that's ridiculous.

I posted about it yesterday in this thread, but the plush, pin/card box, and figure are all available on GameStop's website.

You get the birds for signing up for the Pokémon news letter on Pokémon.com. But you've would have  had to sign up last month by the 22nd.

Aw bummer. I suppose I already have them if its the three legendary ones
