I bought pokemon Red which is really exciting for me because it's the only gen I've never played a game for (not even the re-releases). When I was a kid I played N64 spin-offs until gen 3. It's so weird going back to only 151 and not having all the things I take advantage of in newer games. I also nearly cried because I was grind leveling some pokemon on it and accidentally turned off the game without saving

I got 126/151... oh, and apparently Missingno counted, which I thought was funny- so there's a freebie for you guys.

I did that all while being distracted by some students who needed my help with stuff, haha.

I'm gonna try doing the other generations now. I bet I'll do really bad with gen 3 and 4 since those were the generations I skipped (and subsequently became my least favorites) before getting back into the games with FireRed.

I got 93 out of 151!

It seems like it would be so easy, as I've been a Pokemon fan for almost 17 years now. Lol. I was especially really into that first generation... My 11 year old self would be sooo disappointed in me right now.

I still cant find the celebi pin box at Walmart, the boxes at GameStop are sold out! xD we still haven't gotten in the celebi figure shipments at TRU, they are still in transit. I did find this though! Nothing special but I love the fenniken coin and art of this celebi card!

So I decided I want to recreate a pokemon burger king kids meal! I've got toys and the original sealed bags on the way! xD I want to do it just for nostalgia because it's the 20th anniversary, and it will be really cool! It will look like I traveled in time! Going up and getting fries and a kid burger when I'm ready to take photos- then giving the gross fast food to James because that boy will eat anything xD

That memory test was a lot of fun! I got 106/151. I had more but my spelling is not the greatest ;; It's kind of sad that after so many years I remember so much of the original pokerap Nice to know what is taking up my brain cell space. Though its funny, after the test was over it was like 'Ohhhhhh, yeah! Those!'. It's so much easier without the time limit!

Edit: I just did bold and crazy! I'm generally a shy person but I left the safety of the Pokemon thread to go post a gauging interest thread for a Pokemon swap, since it came up in conversation a few pages back (and it seems like there was some interest). Now excuse me while I go back to hiding under my rock

Time and spelling got me too.  I managed 70.  I was seeing pokemon and thinking of the pokerap but my spelling was off. 
A swap sounds fun.  I'm in the same boat as True though.  It'll be between this or the decade swap for me.

I think I remember doing that test a few years ago, and got around 90,due to me misspelling some of them.
It helped that I still remember most of the PokeRap by heart. xD

And I had some luck today - FINALLY spotted the other Walmart Pikachu set today (the one with the berry Pikachu). I mainly bought it for the sleeping Pikachu figure, but the other poses are growing on me a little.


Starting Friday, if you have Pokemom Bank, you can/will get the Regi Trio ( Regice, Regirock, Registeel) with their Hidden Abilities.  They just announced it a few minutes ago.

Today my dad got his 3DS XL and Red! With much help from me he got to Pewter city with little issues. We had fun playing together (I have Blue and just got to Cerulean city).

Wow, I only got 54/151. My brain suuuucks. At least I have the excuse of being on multiple (prescription!) narcotics, though. I still hate how bad my memory is. And I couldn't for the life of me figure out how to spell Growlithe! I'm gonna torture myself and take the test for the other generations now.
