Hooray! Italian ponies! I love them myself: my first Nirvana pony was an Italian.
Two points to add: 1. They were also released in South Africa 2. There are reverse symbol versions of certain ponies like Windy and Moonstone

I like them both. I can deflock, and actually enjoy it, but will only do so on a pony where the flocking is in poor shape. I'm currently busy with Lofty: she was full of mold and what flocking she had left rubbed straight off the first time I washed her in cold water. I think she was just glad to get rid of it at that stage, poor pony.

So far I've never thrown any ponies away. I've had them arrive covered in cat pee (twice), and smelling of cigarettes as well as mold. In fact I'm still, months later, working on a lot of ponies who arrived absolutely reeking of mold and filled inside with that mold: they could clear a room.
I have ponies with ears and parts of their hooves and horns chewed off, but I will try to save them all.

Moon Jumper is the favourite winger in my collection: she was a lucky BIN eBay find. I would love to have Cool Breeze one day. I also love High Flier and Flurry.

Wigwam: he came with Ella written up all of his legs in indelible marker, but I was still excited to get him as I had never touched a big brother until that moment although I had wanted one since I was a kid.

So many grails... but my main one at the moment is SA Windy. She is the last pony I need to replace my childhood herd. But there is no way I can afford her. I mean: SA pony

Happy Birthday!
I have her: she was brought back from the UK by my long-suffering Uncle last year. What I wasnt expecting were the initials scrawled across her butt, but those are gone now and she has taken her place with the herd.

I have her. She is my favourite of this set and the most glorious shade of blue

I'm pretty sure PKW and I are talking about the same pony, so there are two that we know of: one unfinished prototype and one complete pony.

My personal experience with them is that their hair doesn't stand up to heat as well as MLPs and so is harder to restore. As for their bodies, I treated them just the same as when I clean up my ponies. Hope this helps

If you are talking about the prototype SA Parasol then, yes, a complete Parasol has been found in South Africa. Not by me, most unfortunately, but I do know the person who found her.

Can't wait to find out the results. As you say, this is something that many people have discussed but results haven't really been posted so we are all unsure as to how well it will or will not work. Night Glider also deserves to be restored IMO. I have a very bait one waiting for lockdown to end before she is sent to me so I am glad you chose her for your test subject as well

This pony shakes my resolution to not collect G2. However from all I have seen she is very popular and sought after so unless she comes in a lot she in unlikely to join my herd. Idon'tcollectG2Idon'tcollectG2Idon'tcollectG2. Definitely not

I don't collect G2, but some have snuck into my herd somehow anyway. I would definitely keep her if I came across her: I like her colours and symbol and she is in my favourite G2 pose. But I won't seek her out, I don't collect G2. Ahem...

Thank you for this, love the spotlights! Personally I am already a Mexican pony convert: I have 3 so far and plan on getting some more in the future. I particularly like Starflower with the orange hair stripe. I don't have her as yet though.
