Aww thanks everyone. I wish you all similar success in your collecting too.
Monday and Tuesday are my long days at work, so I'm finishing the tidy up on my day off tomorrow. Since people are asking, of course I'd love to take pics and share. :-)

My favourites are my collection of Minties. Hong Kong Minty was my first pony and has now been joined by versions from around the world.
I was also looking today and thinking how much I liked the baby ponies and pretty pals set.

I'm glad to hear I'm not the only one that forgets what "regular" ponies look like.
I do love Summer's collectors guide for the G1's, it lives by my PC. Now all I need is one for the Nirvana's too and I'd be all sorted.

So today was spring clean in the pony room. While I was rearranging the shelves I counted my G1 herd, and including Nirvanas and Variants, I now have 521 ponies.  I haven't started on the G2, G3 or G4 at the moment, they are in boxes in the cupboard just now. I'm amazed, it has only taken me 28 years to get this far!!!!!!! I am fickle too.
I have coveted certain ponies, then when I got them they were a bit "blah". I've had quite a few French, Greek, rare Italians and others through my hands, and like Lady G says, they got a kind of probation, then sold on.
All of my Minties have stayed though!

My mum had a greyhound walk into her house last summer, and we found her mummy too. It makes you feel proud to have helped.

Aaww Hugs Dusky, I think we've all done it at some time.
When I was quite new here, I got conned into a bad trade where someone traded me a g3 Fluttershy for my MIB G2 Silver Glow. I had bought her in store here when she was out, and didn't realise her value.
Fingerpaints, what a lovely story. My mum collects carinval glass, and she only has one small amethyst piece, most of hers is the traditional orange, with some green pieces. The bowl set sounds gorgeous.

If you have a poundland near you (and who doesn't these days!) they do one called Wizz Oxy. Obviously, it only costs a quid, and it works great on ponies and darling daughter's grubby white school socks.

I don't have any with my rats or dogs and the ponies. Like SunniMoon says, the rats are a bit nibbly (I've got 10 now). Here's one of my rats, Bits, who says "Cheese". It's fantastic!
I've hardly been on the old arena for months, because I had constant go slows and log in issues, no matter which PC I used. Today, I got in first time, and it is all shiny and new and brilliant.
