Does anyone Screen Print?

I took a class on screen printing last semester and loved it! There's a lot of versatility/ possibility to it and now I can't stop coming up with ideas

I would love to learn screen printing but it's a matter of working up the courage to actually start. I do really enjoy gouache resist printing, though.

Loa- How did you find printing on fabric? I've heard its tricker because fabric has a tendency to move and it's harder to line up the pictures consistently on it. That looks stunning by the way, the gradient is absolutely flawless!


Here's a (slightly blurry) screen shot of one of my projects. For the project we had to create 10 identical prints and hand them in. In turn you should really double the amount you produce to leave room for error, which was good advice because out of 20 really only 10 did turn out the way I wanted them to

Out teacher placed blankets down, and then used a spray adhesive to make sure it actually stayed still. Worked like a charm!

I did a course in Art College on Screen Printing but I was intollerant to a byproduct of the ink, a sulphate or something? It made me so horribly dizzy and nauseas for hours after exposure that it really sucked the fun out of the course.
I absolutely love the medium, I admired all my fellow students' works but was never able too fully explore the possibilities myself.

I'm actually looking to sell my old screen. Aluminium frame, 90x70cm, 90T silk mesh, minimal staining/no blockages, anyone know what price I should ask?

One of my softball coaches growing up was a printer.  He did all kinds of stuff, and the majority of our uniforms for us.  Explains why we had, like, 7 of them.
