It is sad that Disney went and coated her with glitter. I wish I had gotten the doll that came with her horse. Sadly it was too expensive for me, as I would of had to import them form the US. No Disney store here. They don't like to share the magic with us.

By the time I found her, she was only available online in the UK. ): I was so upset. I really wanted her in that dress, and of course the awesome horse.

I love that Tiana! I really want to get my hands on her.

I only have a Pocohontas doll, but I'd love a Princess Tiana doll or five one day, I'm hoping one will turn up in a charity shop! I don't normally like Disney dolls since most I come across have cheesy grins, but it's nice to see on this thread that they are not all like that!

Have you seen the New Tiana face?? It is quite lovely. Here is a pic of her I found on Flickr (it is not mine):

Wowsers! That's the sort of thing I'm after one day! That is lovely.

I love your collection toyjunkie! I have some of those dolls too!

I have a few from childhood: Anastasia, Pocahontas and John Smith, Esmerelda, Ariel etc. but my main disney collection is of the smaller musical princess dolls that were produced from 1994 - 1997.

I'm still missing a few such as the dancing princesses, although I've just bought dancing princess Sleeping Beauty and Bubble princess sleeping beauty!

I have none so far, but I wish I had an animator doll ! Either Pocahontas or Mulan. Or Rapunzel, can't choose lol.

Also, I must get a Malificent doll eventually. She was the only villain that actually made me scared ! That says a lot ! xD She is freggin' baddass !!

Those animator dolls are adorable.

I don't collect Disney dolls but when I acquire them I usually donate them to good will.

You have a nice collection of the smaller dolls Claramel. I have the Musical Ariel and also the Dancing Ariel & Eric set. They are a cute doll line. It's nice to see everyone's dolls. :)

I don't have many Disney dolls as I really only collect Alice stuff which is so hard to come by as she is not a Disney princess, but I really want the Designer Princess dolls. Mainly Aurora, Jasmine and Ariel.

I had a few Jasmine dolls as a kid and I would love to get them again. I know this antique mall near my house has a MIB Jasmine doll that I really want. This is what it looks like:

I would love to go this weekend and see if they still have her! I'm also hitting up a large flea market on Sunday so crossing my fingers I can find some Disney dolls to save! Hopefully Jasmine and Aurora ones!

Eee, awesome thread! Love everyone's collections, so many gorgeous dolls :dribble:

I've actually finally got my Disney dolls on display again, so maybe I'll take some photos to share  ^.^ My goal is to collect a Mattel version of each character from the year their movie was released (or their first Mattel release, so the 90s ones, basically). I have all my childhood dolls and I've added to them since, still lots of gaps in the group though! My latest addition was this Flynn, who is pretty much the cutest thing ever:

And I REALLY want this Queen Elinor, but I just can't shell out the $44.99 stores here want for the set she's in, especially since I don't need/want the (movie inaccurate!) Merida she comes with. (I have a blue "princess" dress Merida who is adorable--I couldn't afford that set with her "regular" blue dress and horse either XD)

If it ever goes on sale.... ugh! So much want

Disney dolls are such a fun collection. :lovey: I've often wanted to branch out and get more versions of each character, but for the sake of my bank account, I don't dare ^^;

Dang that's what I noticed about the Disney princess dolls, they all have their own face mold and individual expression, it's almost tempting to get me a few of them. :P

Anyone have any pictures of any Mulan released dolls??

I have a shot of my duplicate Mulan (who's for sale actually) - she's the Secret Hero version from 1998 (Mattel). She's sooo pretty that I've been tempted to keep her, but I really don't need twins XD

I think she's got the best Mulan face.  ^.^
