She looks she pretty:)

I remember when you first got her, and you two weren't getting along   I'm glad to see things are better now.  I love how you tied the eyes and skirt together with the beautiful faceup (you commissoned.)

The Dollhouse / Re: Thinking of getting out of Monster High...

I've felt this way too with MH. No new characters that have caught my eye, no new stuff appearing. The past three months I've gone on a Hiatus and been gone from here for a long while just to see what it'd be like if I went cold turkey. Haven't felt any sign withdrawal or anything. I still enjoy them and wouldn't mind continuing them, but not as actively as I used to be. >,<;

TL;DR Me, mildly being a drama queen.

Spoiler
I also felt like getting out of it a little after the MHArena opened up, (No offence to the awesome MLPArena staff that worked so hard to open it up and are doing a great job maintaining it!) I've just felt somewhat out of place/unwelcomed there. I came to the conclusion that I enjoyed collecting MH because (along with collecting the dolls themselves and enjoying them) I enjoyed being part of a community with others who collected what I collected, but feeling out of place, now it's like being on the playground and seeing a group of kids having fun together, then asking to play and either being ignored or getting that awkward "...Sure..." silent moment or something. Iono, maybe it's just my little "ego" of being a part of something is just being hurt and I'm just not aware of/accepting it yet.

If you've completely lost interest, or think you've lost interest, you can try what I did and went cold turkey, not pay attention to your collection for a few months and see if you feel the same now as you would then about keeping them, selling them, or passing them onto someone else.

If it makes you feel any better, Luvly, I've noticed your disappearance and missed you   You always made me laugh:)  A few of my favorite people never truly made the switch, and that makes me sad (you are one of them!) so you are NOT alone.  Also, I have a bit of hard time over there too, but it's mostly because it's such a BIG open space, and I have a hard time keeping up with everything   I'm sure if you came back, you'd realize people miss you more than you think!

It seems alot of people are looking to "get out" or downsize.  I, myself, have been getting bad vibes from my collection.  I've got "it all," so it's an embarrassing amount of dolls.  It's getting to be too much, and I haven't been able to bond with the newer dolls because as soon as I get one, I need to find the next one and the next one.

For those of you who have found these little guys anywhere OTHER than TRU, where are you finding them exactly?  I mean, where are they displayed?  Who are they hanging out with?  They can't have their own section.......right?

Awww, man!

They were really starting to do some COOL things, too!  This last wave was my favorite, I think.

Well, more money in my pocket, I guess:(

The Dollhouse / Re: Pinkie Cooper - New doll line!
« on: August 14, 2013, 04:07:36 PM »
So I saw the Pinkie Cooper dolls at my local Target. All the basic dolls had headbands, so I don't know what's up with some people getting headbands and others not.

The basic dolls were $15, the deluxe dolls with pups were $20, and the pups by themselves were $10.

My doll budget's already just about gone for this month so I didn't pick any up, but I'm looking forward to when I can bring home a few of these cuties for my very own!

I read on Flickr that Target stores are the only stores that will have the dolls with headbands.  It's sorta a "Target exclusive" without actually being an exclusive.

Here's where I read it:

I LOVE Juicy Crush I, but I'm having a hard time with Juicy Crush II

I like that the first wave was based on a single fruit.  I'm sad the second set is a mix of two (although maybe they did it on purpose?  Wave 1=1 fruit, Wave 2=2 fruits.)

Surely they could have came up with other single fruit dolls:)

I'll be getting Wave 2 anyway.  The Juicy Crush lines are my favorite LDD doll lines.

How would one pre-order a Clover Zelf?  I looked on TRU.com, but I struggle with that website way more often than I should :help:

It's that tween section that has make-up and locker decorations, and hair ties, and all sorts of random tween stuffs:)  It's all labeled "TMI."  I don't think I've ever took the time to figure out what the letters stood for.

Just looked it up cuz I got curious.  It's not "TMI" it's "TM!" and it stands for Totally Me!  I bet everyone knows what I'm talking about now.  Helps to have the proper information when posting, doesn't it?  Oops!

Sorry guys!

The mermaid one is one of my favorites (for some reason, I don't really know why XD)

They are VERY new, so I'm sure prices will go way down soon.  Don't buy online just yet.  The one's I've seen online are double what TRU charges, and you know TRU charges on the high end:(

And I'm gonna quote this because I laughed and then said "So true!"

They are very colorful! They remind me of the old troll dolls for some reason, just without the ugly!

I found mine at TRU in the TMI section.  I think they were just thrown in somewhere for now.  I didn't see the flower pot ones.  I'd love to see one out of the pot!  Or maybe I don't:)  Less temptation!

The website says they will be available at Walmart, TRU, Justice, and Amazon.  That first day I saw them, I shopped all over the internet looking for them (I hate giving TRU my money.) but they were nowhere to be found at retail.  For once, TRU had the best price

All mine are still on the card.  Not sure if I want to open them yet :wonder:  If Clover will be as rare as they say she will be, I'll probably keep her MOC, so the rest might stay that way too.....

Thanks for the link:)  That clears some stuff up :P

I was hoping for a more monochromatic blue doll:(  Just like the gold doll, but blue.

Of course all these opinions are coming from a person who knows nothing about this line.  Maybe it makes perfect sense to a Winx fan:)

I'm not sure if that number is bad or not.  Probably bad:(

Hope I can find her out in the wild on my own *crosses EVERYTHING that crosses*

Oh.  I DID click on that link.......she just didn't seem like a "sister" doll to the exclusive one.  In fact, there are 2 other dolls that she fits in perfectly with.  I love all 3, but not as much as that beautiful golden doll.  I wish they had given Icy the "exclusive" treatment too!  There's only a $5 difference in price.  I don't know whether to feel like Icy is over-priced, or Daphne is a steal XD

Yeah, one of the first things I did when I got home to look them up, was to try and figure out how "rare" this Clover one would be.  Could I buy it cheap-ish on Ebay?  Was it available to order directly from a store?  But all I found out was that they were SO new, no one had them online, and if I did see them, they were DOUBLE what TRU wanted, so I went back and got them all while I could!

I really hope finding Miss Clover won't break my bank!  I also hope that the ultra rares aren't released every 3 months too -_-
