www.eatyourkimchi.comvisitors can't see pics , please register or loginSimon from eatyourkimchi.com made as a random gift ^_^ from a McD's bait pony. i removed the plastic tail, and rehaired with ululu nylon from retrodollsus.com his ranch and doritos are made form apoxie sculpt, and his sombrero from lumina. all painted with acrylic paints. oh an random note... i was really puzzled by Simon's eyes. they look hazel in the videos but i was unsure. hazel is a funny color, i have a child with dark hazel and one with greyish hazel... anyway i painted his in a light brownish hazel with blue and green tinges of color. then i watched a video and Martina said his eyes are hazel! so i was kinda happy! but again hazel is a funny eye color full of mischief so i hope i got them slightly right at the very least! visitors can't see pics , please register or loginMartina from eatyourkimchi.com made as a random gift ^_^ from a McD's bait pony. i removed the plastic tail, and rehaired with saran hair in sun kissed from restoredoll.com and thermal raspberry from retrodollsus.com her hair accessories are all made from apoxie sculpt. all painted with acrylic paints. oh and by thermal raspberry hair i mean it turns white when it's warm. she looked really funny when i boiled her bangs down because it was bright white instead of pink. visitors can't see pics , please register or loginSpudgy is Simon and Martina's dog from eatyourkimchi.com made as a random gift ^_^ from a McD's bait pony. i removed the plastic tail, resculpted his legs a bit (my knife was out for blood!) and then chopped off his pony ears to sculpt doggy ears. then the amazing and 3 or 4 hour long tedious task of fur sculpting done with apoxie sculpt. i'm so so so glad i decided to do a shaved spudgy.... also his one eye is blind, i think i got the correct eye. *shrugs* all painted with acrylic paints. visitors can't see pics , please register or loginDr. Meemersworth is Simon and Martina's cat from eatyourkimchi.com made as a random gift ^_^ from a McD's bait pony. i removed the plastic tail and the ears to reculpt with apoxie a cat tail and scottish fold ears. all painted with acrylic paints visitors can't see pics , please register or loginso.... i finally made ponies with MissKika-esque eyes. i've wanted to do a pony based on art of hers before, but... i could never decide which! everything is amazing and i was so busy going back and forth between favorites i eventually just ignored the project. but now, not only can i celebrate the blog's anniversary, i can create these as a gift for her and her ever loving fiance, Nara, and enter their fanart contest all at once! yay!!!!!!!!!!!! so i was finished painting like last week, but i ran out of blonde hair on Martina from EatYourKimchi.com so i had to order more. I USED AND ENTIRE HANK OF NYLON FROM RETRODOLLSUS.COM IN ELLE ALONE! well ok, technically i have like 5 plugs of decadence left, but really, what can i use only 5 plugs on? Nara, on the other hand, used only a reasonable amount of roasted chestnut monofiber also from retrodollsus.com. both were painted and sealed with acrylics by hand by yours truly. hair was boiled and styled by me as well. i hope Elle and Nara like them enough to give me an address to which i can send these lil ponies, cause it's hard to give a gift if you can't send it.... also... because these eyes are not my style, and are based heavily off of MissKika's art style i will not be repeating them, even tho, yes, they are very awesome. if you don't know it yet, you will, my normal pony eyes are pretty awesome too! it's been a long time! (i can say that in two more languages but i won't bore you!) today i'm showing off my two most recent customs. there's actually a few i've made since going MIA but i didn't take pics of several... these however i am particularly proud of! so we'll start with my favorite. visitors can't see pics , please register or login99 is modeled after this video from the K-pop group Epik High. the song is amazing to me and the video as well. i have been dealing with a lot of stress and depression but i feel better when i think about this song. everytime i've been knocked down i get back up. and even though things are difficult now, i'm not giving up. the detail painting on 99 (her name is the title to the album this song is on) was a lot of fun. i find tedious repetitive tasks relaxing so i really really enjoyed this. also her hair has 5 colors from www.retrodollsus.com RDUS. her mane has 6 rows of hair including 4 of them tightly packed between her factory plug holes. her mohawk has no spray or glue or gel of any kind. her pendent is made from apoxie sculpt and the beads are just things i had lying around. 99 will never be sold. she is mine and mine alone. she was some art therapy for me and made me so happy. she is now in a protective plastic case on display. but if you want to see her in person she'll be with me at the MLP Fair this July. Just look for the table i'm sharing with RDUS and you can see her details in person ^_^ oh her hair colors are sterling silver, jet, seafoam, disco,and kwik silva next up: visitors can't see pics , please register or logini originally vectored her for RetroDollsUS.com and now here's the custom version! she's been re-haired in monofiber hair offered at www.retrodollsus.com in pixie pink and royal plum. she is a normal sized g4 so the painting is tiny, and a little shaky because of it. but i love her and Shans at RDUS likes her too. so i'm not gonna cry over it ^_^

She has no tail because there's just TO MUCH DRESS! counting her layers of lace she has 7 layers in her skirt! it all works together for such a pretty effect!

She has some small stains on her dress, pinkish red on the non display side of the back. it's hard to see in the photos, i mention it here because i feel obligated to disclose all imperfections. she also has some facial damage from her previous life as a glitter faced g3 pony. she still displays nicely and hopefully whoever offers her a home won't mind these minor flaws. this is my first lolita girl for sale. lemme tell you... my fingers still hurt!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! two days of sewing,s he has a 3 tiered skirt, not counting her lace, an apron, bows and various lil flower decorations. all hand sewn, she has 5 shades of dollyhair nylon and her eyes have been repainted to match. her NDS front hoof has been chewed on, of course in her previous life, so to cover the scars she has some frilly sleeves. it covers the teeth marks rather well i think. she gave me a lot of artistic freedom and i really enjoyed for this pony. i got to look up celtic knots and practice painting them in their headachey glory. she has 3 shades of saran from restoredoll.com and a hand sculpted horn. altho the horn looks delicate it is on a pin and so it shipped in it's own lil box of safety. i don't think she's arrived yet, but BMD has already seen the pictures so now you can too! as i am preparing for a con i am still taking emergency commissions. i'm a bit busy but i feel i work best when i have someone in mind to be making a custom for. note me or message me or email me for details on ER commissions visitors can't see pics , please register or login

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NbTQG4f3n58&feature=youtu.beyay it's a video!!!!!!!! go ahead make fun of the paint on my left hand. it's a useful pallette. anyway i have several half hanks of kanekalon hair from retrodollsus. when she said half hanks i was like, wow! i can hair lots of ponies with this! unless i'm doing juju-style dreads, but i'm not. i do wanna make dreads some day, but it's not today. instead today i made this TTT custom just for this hair. she's a quickie but a cutie! hair review- it's much softer than i thought it would be! this isn't the first kanekalon i've haired with, but that hair is very kinky and is being used for an afro on a pony so styling is simply going to be a trim anyway. this was softer, with less kinks. felt almost very much like lyn's hair visitors can't see pics , please register or loginat nine she has a full head of adult hair, very thick, and not exactly the smoothest shiniest texture. anyway, so i knew i'd use heat with this hair, and if i had a smaller iron available i do believe it would have curled. either way it's very pretty now and lays like hair should. i don't have her sale pics done but i'll add them tomorrow ^_^ oh and this hair is on clearance at RDUS so clicky the link in my 2nd paragraph and grab some! [EDIT] i did test the yellow kanekalon with the highest setting of the curling iron and it melted, but the sample, named marine, that shannon sent me did not melt even at that setting. so now i'm really really excited to try it for dreads!!!!!!!!!!!

visitors can't see pics , please register or loginthe moment i saw skigs form i really felt drawn to do the grey. i've had this grey craft paint for years and it still does a really nice smooth fbr, and since she listed swirls as something to like i felt like it was meant to be. the fbr took it's many standard layers, but the swirls were done in a custom shade and all in 1 afternoon. of course i could cause the kids were in school at the time  unlike now! i originally wanted to add music notes to the front but the stars really seemed to finish her display side, so i did a little play on music on her nds. i can't live without music and i know it's important to skig so i did want to include it. i used 5 shades of dollyhair, and styled with a silver ribbon, which actually is braided into the hair. then i found these amazing grey pearl beads on clearance and they were just the right size! so she got her hair beaded and a pretty little necklace! i'm glad to hear that skig like her so i hope you all like her too!
