It would be great if there could be a beginner category for people like me who want to try their hand at it or maybe haven't got up to the same skill level as others. If there was, I'd jump at this:) It's something I've been meaning to practise anyway so it would be ideal.

I wear glasses 24/7. I'm ridiculously short-sighted. I fully intend to get laser surgery one day when I can afford it.

Pony Corral / Princess Luna and Rarity set in Tesco UK

As the title says:) They also have singles in the new blister packaging.

It's annoying though because I paid £20 for the set a few months ago:(

It's only £8 now.

Pony Corral / Re: why wont Drama Pony work??????????????
« on: January 25, 2013, 08:16:23 AM »
I would like it if she were filtered to Bubbles. If there's any confusion, we could just call her G4 Bubbles. At least that's friendly and cute and everybody would know who we were talking about. Drama Pony is not a good name for her. I'm sure that nobody likes that. It's a shame. I feel sorry for poor Bubbles. She didn't ask for any of this and it's not fair to brand her with it.

It's a toss up between g3 and g4 for me. I love g3 the best I think but it's easier to get excited about g4 because it's happening now.

Customs / Anybody know who made this pony?
« on: January 20, 2013, 09:14:40 AM »
I'm on the hunt for this pony! She seems to be a bit of an urban legend. Everybody recognises her but nobody knows who made her. Does anybody here own her? Or know who made her?

We're still snowfree in Ayr.

Can see a tiny bit at the top of the hills but that's it. It's freezing though.

My Gran has a freaky gift when it comes to weather, she's almost never wrong and she says she can feel snow. Not long now then.

I like snow but not when I have to be out in it.

Off Topic / Re: Anyone who is a Doctor Who fan?

My favourite is actually Matt Smith, the current Doctor:) I think he's hilarious. I do feel a bit sorry for him, he's taken the part at the worst time, the writing is terrible at the moment. The last two series's have been awful. The Christmas episode was really good though so hopefully it'll be better this year:)

Acetone gets rid of pretty much all paint. I've never done it but it works on everything else:)

Trader & Shipping Support / Re: Non Pony Related Scam

Maybe it's not new. It actually sounds kinda obvious when you think about it and I wouldn't have posted but there are people out there falling for it.

Trader & Shipping Support / Non Pony Related Scam
« on: January 12, 2013, 11:51:15 AM »
Hi everybody. I don't know if this is the right place to post this. I just thought I should let people know what's going on with a new scam.

It affects people with UK land line phones. Someone is calling people at home and claiming to be from BT and demanding a credit card payment over the phone for an unpaid bill. They are telling people to hang up and try to phone someone and they will disconnect the phone line to prevent it, as proof they are from BT. They then call back and demand the payment.

People are falling for this because they don't understand the technical bit. The person on the other line only has to put their phone on mute and then they can hear the other person but the person can't hear the caller. The caller can then disconnect and call back. This is because the person who initiated the call is the one who can disconnect it. Not everybody knows this so people out there are falling for it.

I don't know if this is the right place to post this but I felt the need to warn people.

Pony Corral / Re: Are you a MIB collector or a deboxer?
« on: January 11, 2013, 08:16:47 AM »
I like loose and MIB. I buy loose ponies but if I get a MIB one, I'll generally keep it MIB. I love to see the ponies on display with their accessories in a box. Except for anything with batteries in it. I'm paranoid about the batteries rupturing and leaking acid or something. It's happened to me before.
