 I know what you mean..So far the most I have spent in total was a little over $80 for Mimic. I finally broke down and bought her and I think it was only because she was a buy it now deal and I didn't know if I would ever see something like that again on ebay for her(this has been a while back). Seriously though I need to go to a E.A. ( Ebays Anonymous) I spend way to much time there lol

Seriously... I just bought two ponies, one for a decent price, and another I probably WAY overpaid for.... and I am sitting here wondering about getting more [one I KNOW is overpriced, but I seriously want it now, and not in 6 months] I bought my first G1 tonight though. I'll let you know who it is when it gets here; I'm always nervous about counting my chickens [er... ponies] before they are in my mailbox.

Just wanted to share, anyone else get too excited in the last minute of a bid and just go "Did I really just pay that much for that pony?"

How much is "too much" for you?

I paid $50 for my baby Sunbright over a year ago. And i am ashamed. Just had to have her.

Luckily i don't over-pay too much anymore. I like my ponies cheap The most i've spend on one pony would be around $115. And that's the only one. She was definitely worth it. $100ish is my max to spend on a pony, no matter how HTF it is.

I'm pretty cheap, and there's not a pony on my want list (yet!) that I want so badly I'm likely to lose my head over in an auction. But then again, I'm new to this game, and I didn't understand why someone would need to challenge themself to not buy ponies for a month. Now I TOTALLY get it.  I do also have a tendency to need to have the last word, so if I got started, there's no real telling where I might end up.
