I'd like my pony collection on display at my funeral, and at the end invite each of my friends/family to pick one they like to remember me by.

I actually thought of that too! :D Aside from that I would probably will the rest of my collection to my family and so they could sell them to collectors (they know all about the forums) so they stay in the community and also help pay for funeral costs.

I don't think I will really care what happens to the ponies when I pass lol.

Hubby knows they're worth pretty decent money so he'd probably sell them. My whole goal with them is to eventually sell them to help pay for my kids college or wedding or something so they have always been bought to eventually sell.

I fully intend on a pyramid inspired mausoleum where all my ponies will be arranged like the Terracotta Army.  People can still see them, and they will still be mine

Failing that, if I do not have children/grandchildren of my own, they will go to a childrens charity.

Yes please! I'd visit!

I'm still pretty young so i haven't even thought of a will.

No one is ever Too young! Just as an aside there is a wonderful article which sums up why everyone should be prepared.

I don't have an official will yet, but I suppose I should.

I would probably set a few special ones aside for friends/family and leave the bulk of my collection to my partner to do with what they wish, whether they need to sell it or want to keep.

I've already told my nephew that he could have my 2012 SDCC pony, and for everything else,my family could look through for any ponies they wanted, and the rest, they could sell to pay for any expenses.

But honestly, I don't think I'm going anytime soon, I'm only almost 22

Yes we don't all get to live a nice old age. Its sad but true. When I was younger I thought we lived to be in our 80's and 90's! But having been working in the health field starting at the age of 18 and now working in a mental hospital it really opens your eyes. I see everything now :(

If something happen to me, something like x.x most of my ponies will become RAOPK :P (my family may keep one or two, but they won't wanna all of the 300+ ponies)
Hubby was already instructed, but he hates to talk about it, ahaha.

He also know which ones are expensive in case he need to sell (but I don't think he would like to deal with selling or whatever, just RAOPK will make everyone happier).

I've told my fella to sell off all my ponies when I die, and go for a drink on the profits :).

I like the idea of selling them back into the community, though. It'd be nice to think that other collectors would be looking after my girls if I die.

I've thought about this for quite some time now. For me, I intend to have my favs from all the gens will be buried with me so that means, Tex, Whizzer, MO Star Hopper, Sky Skimmer, Minty, Brights Brightly, Fluttershy and Lyra are to be buried with me. The rest are to be sold to a toy museum for all that visit to enjoy.
