Oh sweetie beautiful collection! I'd say wait...go brush their hair and don't think "gotta catch'em all" If certain ones would be sad to let go, then I say keep them. And if some are just a set completer and you don't really want it, then box them away for awhile and see how you feel. That way they are still around and you can them if your missing them

I too have lost a lot of interest in the G4s, so many never make it here and double in price when they do! Your collection is amazing and beautifully displayed. I'd say keep it, think about it, and only collect the new ones that you really love. You put a lot of effort into collecting what you have, don't regret it. Wait until you're certain you'd be happy with selling or trading some off so you don't regret that later.

(I also have a bunch of MIB ponies hidden away just waiting for the day I have room to display them properly )

they look very nice    yes It is what I do , from G4 to G2  and sometimes both at the same time:)  these 2 gens are my favorites

Such a lovely display and room. You have a gorgeous collection.

I voted to hold off for awhile. I would keep them and see how you feel in a few months and maybe thin out some of the collection if you still feel like it. I don't think you need to though, I definitely see some more shelf space in there but who knows what Hasbro has planned for the future.

*edit* I just saw the follow up post now. That collection room is so great. Good plan to pack them away for awhile and focus on other collections. I love your blind bag display so much by the way!

I had the biggest burn out when g3s were in store. I just couldn't keep up! So I started to only collect the ones I just HAD to have. It worked out great for me. I only picked up 2-3 each wave. I never regretted not getting ones that didn't appeal to me. And if I missed one that I knew I had to have, I just bought or traded for her here!

oh my gosh i think there would be as many G3 out there as there are G1 and i could never collect all of those. it would be far too stressful and expensive.
kind of in a way lucky there are very few g4 (brushables) to collect taking away the bore core 6. its just a bummer that those very few are hard to get now to the extreme amount of store exclusive coming out. but then again its the opposite with the blind bags and the past few waves i have said to myself "i have to stop after this wave, this has to be my last"

Like everyone else has said, you have a beautiful collection and display. I especially love what you have the majority of your blind bags displayed in. That's very cool!

A piece of advice I remember from my days in pokemon collecting is to put your collection away for a while. Whether this means your entire collection or only leaving out your five favourite dolls is up to you, but the point is to keep them out of sight for a while. If you wind up missing them, display them again and keep collecting. If you find you just don't care about them at all, then it may be a good idea to sell.

I really wish the G4 line would go back to the way it was because it started off so well. So many different ponies with diverse colours and cutie marks. It was a great line! Not so much anymore. It's a shame. I understand your frustration, likely doubled since you're a non-US collector. The amount of Euro G4 exclusives hardly compares to the US-only exclusives, particularly those expensive fan favourite packs.
