Top Coat/Sealer?
« on: September 23, 2012, 03:45:47 PM »
 Hey everyone!

I was wondering if anybody could help me for what they use for sealing up their ponies after painting? I've been using Modge Podge Matte and Gloss, and really like the ease of use of just painting it on, and how the paint doesn't chip once you apply it...but it's sticky even after it dries D: This causes problems for me where dust will stick, or when I ship them to customers it'll stick to the bubble wrap I send them in.

Does anybody know a smooth, paintable non-chipping sealant / top coat to use on ponies that doesn't dry sticky?

 Thanks so much!

Is it enamel or acrylic? Goes on dull I'm guessing, right?

Are you watering your mod podge down? It should be the consistency of milk when you paint it on.

Ive had this problem too, in Australia it's a lot harder to get some of the products you have over in the US! I assume Fimo topcoat doesn't require baking? I have a new sealant ive been looking to try, I had a great one a while back, but I cant remember the name!!!!

I just started using Rust-Oleum Paint for plastic.
Let me tell you it's nice and shinny
