Would making this custom have copy right issues

Hey guys, for the past few months I've been thinking about a custom I want to do that uses a poem from an author that has long since died. I wanted to add the text of the poem on her but I'm not sure if there would be any sort of infringement issues. For the curious it's one of Robert Frost's poems.

So if I used the poem on a custom would there be any sort of issue?

An old poem is not likely to stir up any dust, but as long as you don't claim the poem was written by you I don't see why there would be a problem.

Pretty sure you'll be fine, I'm in copyright class right now and a lot of his works are listed as public domain since they are so old.  What is the title of the poem in question?

I love Robert Frost! Stopping by Woods on a Snowy Evening is one of my all-time favourite poems <3

as for copyright problems... I remembered an exact amount of years after which something becomes public domain, and that was more than the years passed since Robert Frost died, but upon doing a quick search I was proven wrong about the exact number of years (or, well, not so wrong, but I learned it's different in different countries). there was some rule mentioning that things that were written between 1923 and 1964 have some special features, and this should appeal to most of Robert Frost's works, as he died in 1963, however, I couldn't find the exact law about poetry. but, again, other sites say other years (for instance, 95 years) and things maybe knitgirl's info is more up-to-date as she has just learned about it.
