Hello,
I haven't been here in quite some time because I have no interest in ponies anymore and the majority of mine found new homes a couple years back, so I wondered if I could please can I have my account deleted and any relevant old sales posts of mine removed too? I've moved on with my life and away from ponies and most other collections, am a full time university student now and my outlook has changed a lot, I'm not anything like the person I used to be here anymore, so deleting this would be great, because I can't relate to the person I was here previously.

Thank you, and best wishes to those involved.
Samantha.

PS I wanted to take the time to thank all those involved in the great "Sandcastle theft" gift box a couple years back, I've still kept Sandcastle and its twin (2/3 ponies I have left)

Sigs & Site Support / How to permanently deactivate account?
« on: March 18, 2015, 01:44:08 AM »
I no longer have any need for this account, since I don't have any interest in collecting/ponies anymore, and have tried settings, but can't find anything, how do I go about deleting my account please? I don't like leaving accounts open if they don't need to be...  :satisfied:

Thanks!

Haha, genuinely, worked out all the finance side of things yesterday, and I'll have £3.96 to live on per day. That means food, drink, toiletries, everything, since my mum cannot afford to support me, and I have to live in halls! Getting organised is actually quite scary, I mean, I've been so excited to leave college for 2 years, and now I'm worried!

Eeek, anyone got any advice on making the transition smoother? Any items you'd forget to take until you're there sort of thing? Or just general input?

Thank you  :)

Off Topic / Any TR fans here?
« on: December 01, 2014, 09:19:30 AM »
I've always had a love for Tomb Raider, and this Sunday, I found TR I, TR II, TR III, (already have TR IV at home), TR Chronicles, TR Angel of Darkness, TR Legend all for PC, all for 50p-£1 each. I love them all, but my favourite is, and always has been TR II, but Legend is my new all time favourite, as I found that for gamecube last year in a charity shop for £1.50, and it's absolutely stunning.

I just adore all the games, and am so thrilled to be able to replay them on a Windows 8 computer.

Who else loves TR, show off your figures and games collections! The image of my collection can be found on my Instragram: thegirlcriedfashion

Thanks guys!

« on: August 17, 2014, 08:04:45 AM »
Found one at a second hand shop, so bought it, it's a pretty old plush but I have no need for it, and I plan to sell on eBay to a collector who would appreciate him. What's a good price?

It's the same as this one (not my photo) however mine unfortunately haas LC written in permanent sharpie on the other front leg the same size as the factory paw print marks on the other legs.

Thanks :)

Off Topic / PC PLEASE! Fashion Star Fillie Joelle?
« on: August 11, 2014, 09:34:51 AM »
I found this girl at a charity shop today for 30p so I picked her up. I don't have a photo of her yet, but she is near mint, factory curls with her original tail bow (the elastic is very weak with age) but her plaits are still present without the beads and intact. She looks like this but 100x better curly hair:

http://media-cache-ec0.pinimg.com/736x/14/db/b4/14dbb402ab7fd5db920bbf0e978113e3.jpg

She has a small patch of paint loss to beside the star on her face, no bigger than a 5p piece, and the same to her DS back leg, same size.

So can I please get a price check on her? She will hopefully be for sale on eBay if the price is enough to overcome the fees XD I will try to post a photo at some point but I've been busy today says it is the three year anniversary of the death of my grandma, so we have been celebrating her life today, and charity shopping as she used to love doing that too.

Thanks for your time,

Icey.

Off Topic / Limiting Play Time?
« on: August 10, 2014, 03:53:38 AM »
Okay, this is going to sound odd, but how long do you all spend on your consoles?

Scientific research shows it can be good for hand eye co-ordination, but it can be bad too for the brain and hypothalamus, so I try not to spend more time than I feel comfortable on my console. (3DS and Wii, which I haven't touched in a month now)

I have health problems and I feel constantly harassed by my mum saying "If you want to get better, you have to stop playing your games." And this morning: " You need  to get rid of them, if you ever want to be able to get better." Which to me, is a bit farfetch'd (ha, get it?!) Anyway, I'm trying to limit myself to 20 minutes a day, but it's tricky when you set yourself in game goals, like for me, one thing leads to another, and after I've hatched that non shiny egg, I go and get another and try to hatch that one etc, so it leads on.

So, out of interest, how long do you spend PER DAY on your console? Are you cutting down? Why? Do you know the health risks concerned? What do you think of them?

Off Topic / Follow On Topic : What Are YOU Most Excited About?
« on: July 25, 2014, 02:48:19 AM »
We all get nervous, and this can genuinely ruin a day for us, so why not tell me something that you are excited about? :) Last night, I couldn't sleep due to repeated bad thoughts and small worries becoming huge in my head, so I thought about the things that I'm excited about, for me, it was/is:

1) I'm saving for a spa break.
2) I've got my 3DS XL, charger and Pokémon x on order.
3) I'm thankful for my mum everyday because she makes everything so much better and calms me when I worry.

I've contacted a representative, and we've taken the correct procedure now.

Basically, I ordered a copy of Zelda 3DS in 'Like New' condition from a private seller on a well known website, and today it's arrived, the parcel was torn open, were it not for the internal bubblewrap that is part of the parcel, it would have gone missing, and the box is completely dented, the vinyl is punctured, and the coverart is torn a little at the bottom. As for the game, I don't know if it works since I don't have my 3DS yet. Overall, not very happy, as cosmetically, I was informed it was like new. This website is, as I said, well known, and they have procedures for dealing with this, so shall I go down this route? I've left them feedback already, 3 stars and explained why. But should I press for a partial refund or something? I don't really know, I wanted a cosmetically perfect copy, especially since I paid £25 for it (an entire month worth of pocketmoney for me)

Off Topic / I feel happy and proud.
« on: July 20, 2014, 12:11:29 PM »
Okay, so to most normal people, this is not going to mean much, to me, it means a lot. I've been saving for a long time, and I will finally have enough for my 3DS XL in August (irrelevant, that's not what this is about!) I've finally found myself again, and what makes me 'truly' happy, and I'm going to be saving next for a spa break. I can't wait, and I've found where I'm going to go, and I'm working out prices. I already technically have the money for the 3ds XL and the game I want (I actually bought Zelda Ocarina of Time two days ago as I had some pocketmoney, but I'm getting Pokémon Alpha Sapphire when it's released) so now any money I make on my sales, and any money I make selling my video games that I don't want (I'm selling those elsewhere, and I've already made nearly £40) will be going towards a spa break, where I can have me time. When I was younger, there was nothing I wanted more, so now, I'm actually going to do it, and I'm actually going to live my life how I want to.  so I'm so very happy. I can afford things, for once in my life, and I've gotten a job! (Voluntary as nowhere paying will hire me due to having no experience) but I feel so overjoyed, since coming from a low income family, it isn't often I can afford much, and what I buy that isn't necessity like clothing, I buy all myself.

So, yeah, just a happy post, since I feel so very happy right now, and it isn't often I feel this way, and like I've got things into perspective.

So, share your joy with me!

Pony Corral / Is the market good currently? (G1 only)
« on: July 19, 2014, 01:12:25 PM »
So, I'm just wondering, as I'm selling so much of my collection, I'd like to know what you think the market is doing at the moment? Is it good for buying (low prices) or good for selling (high prices)? I don't really have any idea about it at the moment, I have a feeling it's low (well, in my eyes, I was selling things last year for more easily)  :dizzy:

Thank you for your input!
