I got plenty of work done in the garden and round the house today but apparently put too much strain on my dodgy leg in the process, so my reward for all that work is an incredibly painful leg. I want a new body, this one's rubbish. :pout:

I want one too!  If I clean for 5 or more minutes it is amazing the amount of pain I get into. Argh

Judging whether or not 35 is close to 50 and deciding at what age something is "vintage" of "antique" is kind of a matter of opinion. I think your argument might go on until G1s are definitely described as archeological artifacts.

Archaeological is 1 million years from now when archaeologists dig them up and deduce that little girls were involved in some kind of ancient, widespread, horse-cult. ;)

Baaaaa  this is epic. I am dying over here.

I kinda dont like any of the gen 4 play sets, they are kinda boring to me.

Well, honestly to me they are over priced shelving units not playsets. :pout:

The flocking is one of the most valued thing in a pony for me, if i could, id flock all of them

I so agree with this.

If someone doesn’t agree with my aforementioned feelings on whether 35 is close to 50

Man I wish 35 was close to 50.  I would be young suddenly again.  I would have to say that no they are not close at all since I have reached both and would very  much like to return to the 35.

I feel that ponies will not reach antique status due to being plastic, my feelings are that if they are not put into some sort of oxygen deprived, light deprived and heat deprived device they will do one of two things, turn into a puddle of color and no shape, or crack and harden and be delicate like a figurine, break easily and hair will be a clump of goo. Since I collect antiques myself in the form of dolls from as early as 1800's even glass can't seem to handle the test of time without shattering, rubber products cave in, flake, crack and melt into hard globs.  Ponies sadly will probably do the same thing I fear. -_-

Okay bear with me here:

I deflock all my ponies, no matter what the flocking condition is.
I reroot all my ponies, despite 'good' hair quality
I think the pony tales cartoon is great.
I remove the first tooth paint from first tooth babies with acetone.

And now everyone will call me a pony abuser XD

Honestly, this is the saddest news I have heard, read or been subjected too all day.   -_-

I had to battle my religious family on the unicorn thing too. I LOVED unicorns as a kid and my mom didn't make me chop off any horns but she was uncomfortable with them and magic. My Grandma is the worst. I ended up researching and found that unicorns are mentioned in the King James version of the bible so I directed them to the passages and that ended that fight. I'm so sorry for those of you that had your unicorn's horns removed or had to hide your toys. It's so sad. I did have to hide my Sailor Moon collection because my mom thought it was a cult. So ridiculous.

I have always love the unicorns in my collection but Pegasus are my favorite.  I do have a unicorn G1 that has no horn and I turned her into a custom.  She has a new life as a character from Game of Thrones.

The unicorn mentioned in the Bible has long been debated by Biblical scholars and the general thought is that the creature mentioned in the Bible as a unicorn was most likely a rhinoceros as this animal fit the behaviors of the unicorn as described in the Bible.  I was in fact not a horse like animal at all most probably since it could not be tamed to plow as that is mentioned.  It could have also been a dinosaur like animal I guess or maybe something that died off we know nothing about.  It is one of those fun mysteries that no one will ever know for sure, but I am pretty sure they are right that it was not a mythological creature.   Some Rhinoceros have two horns and some one and since I have no idea of the biological background of Rhinos I can certain see where this animal can't be tamed and not really useful to man but more just useful in the animal kingdom.     I came from a Christian family and this unicorn issue was never really taught in my home or church.  So, it must be certain faith groups that worry about unicorns.  Last I looked they had not taken over the world yet. ^.^

"I Was Born Without Arms But It Doesn’t Stop Me From Fulfilling My Dreams" *shows drop-dead gorgeous drawings*

Yeah. It's awful success stories like these that kill my self-esteem all the time. I just have no excuse to be lousy at anything, AT ALL. Because there's always someone without arms/legs/eyes/brains out there who does amazing things. :pout:

Well, I can't paint.  I am totally lousy at it.  I can't even paint a wall.  Now if they guy down the street can paint an entire mural for his wall with two toes more power to him.  If I can't paint with my fingers, I certainly will never paint with my toes, belly button or teeth.  It isn't my talent.  Hugs

It's not enough that I have to deal with a runny nose due to pollenseason, keeping tissuepaper close at hand at all times, I also have to have a pimple inside my nosstril witch itches like crazy and everytime something touches my nose it feels like I've been punched. :pout:

I have gone through that a few times its the pits.

Sometimes it is mind boggling to me how people know what toy is going to be the "it" toy to resell in the future or even present for that matter.  Some toy lines are real money makers because there were not many made.  You can't rely on that concept though because other toy lines with gobs of merchandise are highly valuable.  There is a real trick to this.  I remember the first time I sold a lot of lego's from a neighbor of mine.  I sold them on ebay and they really went high.  I couldn't figure out how a pile of legos would go that high, but they did.  Lego is something else.

I wish the sales people in a store would leave me alone.  They swarm up to me every time and talk and talk and ask question after question.  I want to shop in peace.  I find this extremely rude.  If i need help I will ask for it, just give me some space. Uggg  I think I know what I want to look at and I really do believe at my age I can figure out what size I need.  Go do your work!!
