Penpals!

This was a topic i started at the old Arena. The question was who is looking for a penpal?
I know i am!


There were more people who'd like to do it, but i think it never got off ground. I had 3 pony friends i'd agreed to write with, but am only penpalling with one of them. I don't know what went wrong. I just haven't received a letter, which made me kinda sad. I am not trying to say mean things or make these two persons look bad, i just really wanted some penpals. It saddens me it never went through. One of them seems to actually disappeared and didn't talk to me after i tried to make some contact.


So, i'm still looking for another pal. I'd really like an European pal, as i already have an overseas one. I am a very loving person, might sound arrogant, but i just know i have a big heart. I am 23 years old and turn 24 on April 1. I studied Danish langue for a while and can read/write quite some danish words. I am very interested in all Scandinavian languages, like swedish and Norwegian, they look very similar to the Danish language. I'd especially would love a scandinavian partner!


I collect G1 ponies and would like someone who collects G1 too. I have nothing with G4..
I'd like to give presents to people i love, i like to surprise people with unexpected gifts (but not if one's only interested in that part). I'd love to send gifts to my penpals once in a while. I care alot about animal rights and support and donate animal wellcare.
I have depressions from time to time, but i'm still very good company


Well, please only respond if you really into penpalling, i don't want the same experience again. I'll just wait to see if there is any interest.

Woo penpals! I haven't had a penpal since I was a kid and that as just because I'd moved far away from my friend.

My problem is I have absolutely no idea what I'd write about if I had a penpal!

I'm interested with being penpals with any/all who want one.  I have to find something to do while I hang out hiding in my house all the time.  Between being disabled, hiding out from my ex all I do is talk to my dogs and stay locked up.  The idea of having someone else to talk to is nice even if I'm quite dull lol.

I'd be interested in having a penpal but I live all the way in New Zealand and I'm not sure what I'd write about. I'm sure I'd find something. Probably knowing me ponies. That's always a good place to start.

Overseas it's all pretty expensive to send stuff, that's why i'd prefer an European partner right now, as i already have an overseas one

Me too! I got involved last time and sent a letter to my partner, but never received one back I was worried that it never actually arrived.

This is so interesting, I was thinking about starting just this type of thread for myself because I love writing letters in the mail and was hoping for someone to write to also.  I can see you are looking for Europe so thats not me. But its a neat idea and helpful to people like me stuck at home.  I am quite a bit older though...so I have not even posted for myself. I hope you find just the right person for your penpal.  Its a lot of fun. I had one in Japan for a while but we lost track of each other.
