Old toy dog (90s?)

Does anyone remember toy dogs from the 90s. They were probably the size of a real small dog, had moveable legs and a hard body but felt fuzzy and they had soft ears. When you opened their mouth and shut it, they would sound like a squeaky bark...I think they sold them at toysus. I can't remember what they were and it's bugging me!

I had (and probably still do have) several of them. I don't recall the brand or anything at the moment, I'll see if I can find one here.

Pretty sure I know what you're talking about - my brother and I both had one; I got mine for my 8th birthday, lol so I have a photo of it. Is this what you're talking about?

Yes, I had one of those! I might be able to remember what it's called, but the name has slipped my mind at the moment. I think it's something really generic sounding like "My First Puppy" or something like that... maybe?

I forgot to mention -- mine TERRIFIED my real dog! He thought the little thing was a real dog and didn't want to be in the same room as the toy dog. I wonder where mine is... I know I still have it!

I had one of those!  I had the Beagle and my best friend at the time got a Husky.   I have no idea what they were called though..  I think they came in a dog house styled box.

I found one of mine, the same as the one pictured above. The tag on her collar says: My Very Own Puppy - Mattel, 1992.
