on ebay do you find one day better then another to list on to get your stuff sold?

I traditionally list on Sunday night but with my work going back to Sunday trucks and having to be up at 5AM by the time Sunday night rolls around I am too tried to list.

So what day do you list on and do you find it affects price etc?

Well, I usually list on Saturday nights and make sure the listing ends Saturday night. I think I've heard anecdotally that Friday nights are good, too. People have more time generally on those nights to look at listings and such. I've actually rarely tried any other listing time, though, so Saturday nights are just my best guess for a good listing time.

I unfortunately do not know what the perfect time is. I have had my store for over 7 years so I only list BIN's.

Hmm, it's not that easy to make up the prefect time but for my sales in Germany ending an auction on a Friday night is the worst case - here most people don't spend their first evening of the weekend in front of the computer but due to the Ebay app most people are always available and on the hunt. Saturday and Sunday evening seem to work best here for ending an auction. It is also proven that the time of year also plays a role. Summer holidays are not so effective as the three months before Christmas. There is another high in January when people sell unwanted presents and then the selling rate goes down.

I believe for pony collectors these points are not so important. I personally check Ebay regularly for the ponies I want - then it doesn't matter to me when the auction ends especially due to different time zones since I buy a lot from the US.

Anyway, as a general rule I would always make sure that it ends in the evening, mornings don't sell as high.

Thursdays for me, 10 day listing, will end on a Sunday, when most people are available to bid

Well.... its been  while since I ran many auctions (I prefer BIN), but I think making sure that your auction ends at a time when most people are home is a good idea , so not in the middle of a weekday   - night is better than morning - but not late night, and especially not late on Friday , Saturday or Sunday nights when a lot of people are either going out or having some relax time or heading to work early after a busy week/weekend    Early evenings on weekends  and Friday as well as weekdays are good though dont have the auction ending at a time when most people are sitting down to dinner   Bank holidays and other holiday times when most people are off work are good but morning or evening rather than midday is good for those.
Oh and definitely the best selling times are September-January  (whith Nov and the first two weeks dec being the busiest )  July and August are the worst selling times , so if you can hold out for another few weeks you should be able to get more interest and possibly a higher ending  price

I always list in the mornings but I find Sunday and Monday seem to be my best selling days. Also, the first of the month seems to be the best time by far.

Weekends is when stuffs sells the best for me, Saturday night and Sunday.

I try to make things end on Sat. night, but since at least half of my things are bought by international peeps, I guess that means that my auctions end at 6:30 pm on the west coast, but 3:30 a.m. in say Germany.

I guess I can just hope that at least a few buyers use sniping software...

We use auctionsniper, we almost never live bid.  Had too many bad experiences in the past of folks following us and running us up.

Sundays are by far the best time to end auctions. You can list on Tuesday for 5 days or Thursday for 10 days to end on Sunday You also get some free scheduled listings now, so you can list a certain number at any time to end when you choose
