07012001 Yeah.. That's an eBay ID...

I woke up this evening to find that the buyer 07012001  had bid on two of my Monster High auctions. One had already ended They just joined ebay on the 3 maybe? And have 0 feedback. And when I do an advanced search for items they had bid on, the list is two pages long    And they are in Russia and the items they bid on I am only offering Priority or express shipping..

I sincerely DOUBT I will get paid for the items. I just wanted to give folks a heads up and to see if maybe anyone else has had them bid on and actually pay for something.

Uggg..I'm sorry Maniah, what a waste of time.  I would say hopefully they will pay but going by the looks of that list, it's doubtful.

How common is this kind of thing? I have read  a few stories like these on here during the lat month. If they never pay, when can you relist the items?

I don't understand why people do this stuff. "Hey, I'm bored. Let's make an eBay account, bid on tons of stuff, and not pay! LOLzzz"

Luckily they only won one item. Someone else bit on the other item they had bid on. But the one item they did win, it will take a little over a week before I can relist it. Its 4 days they get to pay, then 4 more days to pay after I open a case against them. Or maybe it's 5 days? ANyway.. It's stupid

I also wonder why people do this. I mean really. What is the point? Do they find it funny? Is it part of some bigger scam that I just don't understand?

That is troublesome!  It's a shame you have to go through all that hassle. hopefully when you relist, the sale will go better.

Looks like new ebay policies are finally in effect. Turns out I only have to wait 2 days to open an unpaid item case now Yay!

I noticed that too. I was able to open an upaid item case earlier than normal on something today. I hope we both get paid soon.
