I recently bought a MLP G1 VHS off of ebay.
I paid promptly and a little while I got a message from the seller.
The message basically said that there was a static line in the film and I had the choice of a discount or a refund. I took the refund and everything has been resolved and sorted.
I was wondering if it was okay to still leave the seller positive feedback?
They were very nice and professional about the situation.

I think positive feedback is deserved they told you the problem and offered you a solution. Sounds like a good seller to me even it you didn't really get to buy anything.
-
Yes I'd say so, even though the original transaction didn't happen the seller was honest and upfront about the issue when it was found, and took care of the problem to your satisfaction. Much better than just sending you the VHS without saying anything.
-
I would think so, as they mentioned it before you received it, and they did offer a refund!
-
Yes - I would say its the right thing to leave positive feedback for this transaction :) Its good to hear of a seller on ebay who worked with you and sorted things out quickly :bigups:

How do I go about the stars?
Should I just mark them all full marks?
What happens if I ignore the stars?
-
You can ignore the stars if you choose. They only factor in the stars that are clicked. I have an uneven count for my stars since someone missed, ignored or chose not to click one of the ratings.

I think that is great that you are going to leave postive and yes as the other's have said you still can :)
It's always nice when a seller is open and honest about an issue. And doesn't just send out something broken or damaged. It saves everyone alot of hassel in the end.

I'd leave positive feedback too :) As a buyer I'd want to know if a seller handled a problem with the transaction well or not.
-
I would, if they resolved it to your satisfaction, they are a good seller ^^
