I started collecting Our Generation Horses and managed to snag a double locally for cheap enough I decided to customize it. I've never been such a patient painter before in my life, but I meticulously masked off her markings and sponge painted them for a factory look. The white in her mane is a little bit of leftover from rehairing a pony years ago, the hank was uneven but it blended well enough.
I am so pleased with how she turned out!

OOOOOH very nice! I really love the Lipizzaner horse but I haven't splurged and bought her yet....

Thanks!
I got my Lipizzaner 2nd hand from the UK, her hair was an absolute rats nest when I received her. Fabric softener and patience got her gorgeous long wavy locks like new. I admired her in stores but was so glad to find her cheaper, I don't mind missing accessories (I've made a couple of them bridles).
I would love to get more, especially to customize, but they're expensive to ship and I literally only have room for one more who's already in the post to me from the US. My pony room is full to bursting but I can't trust my cats not to knock over or chew on ponies, they already wreak havoc among my dinosaurs when they break into the bedroom lol, so it's the only safe place to display.

Fabulous work on it

My dolls have a poseable Morgan from the OG line. I always keep my eye out for them at thrift stores but usually the choice is a My Life As, and they don't have quite the same quality.
