I'd recommend a nice, dewy finish foundation.

...

I'd also recommend a concealer, for extra coverage, it helps even out the areas that are 'worst'.

I'll agree here, a dewy finish foundation.  I also have oily skin.  I recommend Skin79 VIP Gold.  It's a BB cream, so you just pump out a little, gently spread it on your face, and then you can tap a little extra on to any areas that need a little more coverage.  This stuff has been wonderful for me; You don't have to try to match a color to your face.  It comes in a nude sort of color and adjusts (oxidizes) to your skin color.  Seriously!  I love it.  You don't need to use powder or anything else on top of it, so it's great if you don't want to spend a whole lot of time on your face.

The only downside is that it's a Korean product, and I order it off of Amazon (as it's the only place I can find it).

This is hilarious.

Glue the googly eyes to the eyes that pop out so it's even MORE crazy, then make a point of setting it in random places for your mom to find (you know, elf on the shelf style!)

Ohh, I love this thread!

LadyPinwheel, I can't wait to try the Korma Chicken!  I have a recent obsession with Curry!

So here is a healthier option to PIZZA!  The crust is made of... wait for it.... cauliflower!

Low Carb Cauliflower Pizza Crust

Spoiler
Ingredients
  • 1 small to medium sized head of cauliflower – should yield 2 to 3 cups once processed
  • ¼ cup shredded Parmesan cheese
  • ¼ cup mozzarella cheese
  • 1 egg
  • ¼ teaspoon salt
  • ½ teaspoon garlic powder
  • ½ teaspoon basil or rosemary, minced (or dry)
  • ½ teaspoon oregano, minced (or dry)
  • 1 cup marinara sauce
  • 1-2 cups mozzarella cheese

Instructions
Preheat oven to 500 degrees F.

Remove the stems from the cauliflower and cut into chunks, Place the cauliflower into a food processor and pulse it until it resembles the texture of rice. If you don’t have a food processor, you can use a cheese grater or chop it very finely.

Microwave the processed cauliflower uncovered in a microwave safe bowl for approximately 4-5 minutes on high. Remove it from the microwave and allow it to cool for at least 4-5 minutes (trust me don’t rush this step!). After the cauliflower is slightly cooled, place it in a kitchen towel and squeeze all the liquid out of it. Be sure to squeeze as much liquid as humanly possible.

Combine the cooked cauliflower, egg, garlic, cheese, and seasonings. Stir until a dough texture forms. Spread the cauliflower mixture out onto lightly greased parchment paper or a pizza pan in the shape of a pizza crust.

Bake the crust for approximately 10-15 minutes (depending on your oven), or until the crust is golden and crispy. I cooked mine for approximately 15 minutes. After the crust is golden remove it from the oven and add your toppings, I used marinara sauce and cheese for a simple margarita pizza.

Place the pizza back in the oven but this time turn on the broiler, bake for about 2-5 minutes until the cheese melts. be sure to keep an eye on it because the broiler can burn the cheese quickly.

Slice and serve warm , enjoy!

P.S. I won't lie.. I found this recipe on Pinterest (where all good things are found!).  For whole recipe, visit this link:

I had to watch this video a billion times!  I am SO proud of this kitty.  He body slams that dog and then keeps going after him like, "YEAH YOU BETTER RUN!"

I feel for the little boy, good thing his little guardian angel kitty was there to save the day.  Shame on the neighbor for not keeping their dog in a fenced in area!

Pony Corral / Re: Would you rather have a pony or jewelry?
« on: May 16, 2014, 09:44:36 AM »
Some HTFs can cost a looot of money!  I'm still pretty new to pony collecting, but, I think I would prefer jewelry.  I haven't had any children (yet), but jewelry would be something I could pass down to a daughter or daughter-in-law.  Not everyone appreciates Ponies the way I do.

I can see my future children, after I've died, trying to figure out what to do with my things and saying "What the HECK are we gonna do with all these ponies?!"

Looks great, I love the cutie mark!  What paint did you use?  The black looks great.

I, too, have a fascination with things that glow in the dark.

Hi everyone!

I'm new to the world of collecting MLP.  Specifically, I like the G1 and G3 pony figures, and I've been slowly amassing a collection for about a year now.

I Joined the forum to meet and greet a little, and to get involved in The 2014 MLP fair discussions!  Can't wait to delve deeper into my new obsession!
