Hmm, I’m not sure if Merry Treats burns in the sun. If you do decide to sunfade her, be careful. This tutorial covers the paint sunfading method well. It might be a lot of work for a minuscule result though; her flaws are pretty tiny considering her age. I would check her for rust like MintyMyndi said. Also, since we’re talking about stain removal and such, a warning to never use acne cream

Hmm, I don't think I've seen her before. She is cute, I like her hair colours, but I'm not a huge fan of G3 baby ponies, so I'll probably pass.

As to why she has a symbol in the cassette/pony package. Well, she's also a different color from all the original embers. She was a dull lavender body with lavender hair and a white star on her flank. I feel like the more important question is which baby Ember is the REAL baby Ember.
Same here - I've mostly wondered which is the 'true' Ember or if they're all the same pony in the first place. Headcannoning that one (or all?) of them turned into Ember's Dream and therefore got a symbol implies that they are? But it raises more questions as to the color changes and the other Embers. It's very unclear if Ember's Dream has any relation to the MO ones, so for all anyone knows, she could've been born with a symbol like most of the rest of the G1 ponies. (If we're still sharing, I personally headcannon that they are the same pony; Ember's Dream is her 'true form' while she can shapeshift into the other three.)

Yeah... that’s just a Starshine in really poor condition. Some have more opaque plastic which stays a nice white while others have a different quality of plastic, usually a bit more transparent, that goes brown. It looks like she has ink stains too.
She’s not a variant, just over 30 years old.

I've made one custom out of a G4 McD's Rainbow Dash  For the G4s with real tails, pulling them straight out works best. You can use hot water to losen the glue, and if it's real tough, pliers. I cut off most of her mane just using a knife since the plastic is pretty soft. They can also be baked; I used polymer clay for the mane and tail and baked it straight on. (There are also McD's ponies for all gens, technically. G1 had some variation on the Mommy Charms, G2 had their own, and of course G3 and G4 have theirs.)
