Yes, I mean the one that's red, blue and orangey-yellow.  Kinda reminds me of Syndrome from The Incredibles. ;-) I recently bought one that's MIB, but I had little to go by in terms of worth.  This was before I signed up for the MLP Arena.  You guys are all so amazing here, thanks!!!

Oh, my herd is definitely growing, much to my husband's dismay, lol.... I do plan to restore and resell some of the ones I bought in bulk lots, but I also plan on keeping several. :-)

Wow, I had so many ponies as a kid!  They've been in storage at my mom's ever since I got married, though.  Long story!  The ones I DEFINITELY remember having are Windy, Galaxy, Glory, Moondancer, Gusty, and the plush version of Bowtie.  I also had the Baby Bonnet School of Dance and the nursery with the alphabet blocks on the front.  I had several So-Softs, sea ponies, babies, flutter ponies, pegasus, etc.  We never got any mail-order ponies, though, or ones that are highly sought-after.  I am trying to remedy that now. ;-)

What about you? (whoever wants to answer is more than welcome!)

Hmmm.... interesting.  Thanks for sharing.  What do you think is a fair price for the 2007 SDCC pony?

I have seen one of these (and only one) on eBay selling for $300 as a BIN price.  Thoughts??  How sought after is this pony and others from the MLP Fairs or the SDCC?

I bought a Mimic on eBay today which was being sold in a lot with Speedy.  Thrilled to bits!

Yep, we're east coasters. ;-) Smack dab in the middle of the country, right near the beautiful North Sea.  We were in St Andrews for three years, but are now a few miles out of town, in Leuchars.  Are you Scottish, or are you also an expat?  Thanks for the advice on the signature.  I'll go check it out.

It is definitely beautiful living in Scotland, and there is actually a family of real ponies living just a few miles from my house. :-) My husband is already regretting his act of kindness in buying me a few cheap ponies from the charity shop, lol.  Even my sons are perplexed at the herd of colorful ponies that have started to invade our home.

P.S. How does everyone get those cool pony avatars as their signatures?  I am not very tech savvy. :-/

Hello, Everyone! (shyly waves)

Do I really have to share my age?  LOL.  Let's just say I'm a G1, just like my favorite My Little Ponies.  I am originally from Minnesota, but have been living in Scotland for the last 6 1/2 years with my husband and two boys.  Last year we added a sweet baby girl to our family, so life is pretty great. :-) My husband has been studying and teaching at the University of St Andrews, and should be obtaining his PhD by the end of this month.  My profession is motherhood; unpaid but I love it. <3

I have been a My Little Pony fan since I was a little girl.  Not sure WHY I loved them so much, but they were by far my favorite toy to play with.  They went on every birthday and Christmas wish list, and to this day I have never actually counted how many I had. I stopped collecting by about age 10 or 11, and had absolutely NO IDEA how popular they would become.  Though I suppose when you're a kid, you don't think of your current toys as one day becoming "vintage," let alone future collector's items!

It literally wasn't until a couple of weeks ago, when my husband bought a few 99p (approx. $1.60) G1 ponies from a charity shop because he knew how much I used to like them, that I became a collector again.  I only recognized one of the ponies, but couldn't remember her name.  I went into Google and did searches like "pink pony with ice cream cones" or "orange sparkle pony with sun on rear" to find out I had Baby Lickety Split and Sunspot (also Tex and Love Melody).  All of the ponies must have come from the same collection, however, because they all have significantly shorter tails and manes.  Boo.  Since then I have spent most of my free time online researching MLPs and daaaaaaaaaang. ;-) I have also bought too many, lol.  Am going to need to give some of the grubbier ponies a good clean-up and then resell them to help recover some of what I've spent.

Ponies:

Still waiting on some orders to arrive, but in addition to my charity shop bait ponies (and the ones still in a box at my mom's house), I have Windy, Bow Tie, Bubbles, Posey, Tutti Frutti, So Soft North Star, Merry Treats, Barnacle (no hat or bandana), Cherries Jubilee, Honeycomb, and Bride Pony. :-D
