Hmmm... I'm not even sure this is the right term but I would call it either a hutch, or just a cabinet.

Generic term for Tylenol here is acetemetaphine (oh my, I thought generic terms were universal....)

So did I.  Until I moved to America in 2012 and asked for paracetamol and only got a blank stare in return.  Glad to know it's also paracetamol in the UK.

In Germany it is Paracetamol, too. Everybody knows that stuff. :)

In Australia we often just call them servos.  But the official name is service station.

Petrol station would be fine to say in Australia too, actually.  But servo is definitely Aussie slang for it.

Oh, the Aussie names for lavatory.... dunny, out-house, loo, the ladies', toilet.  I say americanised 'bathroom' sometimes because I think it sounds a bit more polite, but people look at you confused! here a bathroom means literally a room with a bath tub or shower, and usually doesn't even have a toilet.

Jam, jelly, jello-- what do they mean where you live?

We say bathroom too lol although your correct we refer to the bathroom as having the toilet too......
Jam is a fruity spread  you can have in sandwiches on toast in cakes :)
Jelly is the wobbly stuff you have with ice-cream and we don't use the term jello at all :)

Jam is fruit preserves. It can be sort of chunky-ish and have seeds.
Jelly is like jam, but has no seeds. It's more clear and holds together more than jam.
And Jello is a brand of a gelatin dessert, but it's become to be a generic word. *_* Kinda like klenex for tissue, or xerox for a copy.

They have marmite in Australia, but vegemite is far superior.

1. A jacket
2. A sausage.
3. No idea
4. I don't know, but a bap in Australia is a kind of bread roll.  It's not a common word for it, but I used to work in a bakery that sold them.
5.  Police officer
6.  I think you're talking about a pastry with vegetables or meat inside, folded into a triangle shape usually.

I love a pasty.  You can get them in Australia pretty easily.  They're also something we sold at the bakery I worked at.  :)
