So how do you guys pay for your ponies? With jobs, with chirstmas money, with allowance?

I myself can not seem to get hired so mine are bought with shopping money my dad gives me from time to time.

I myself can not seem to get hired so mine are bought with shopping money my dad gives me from time to time.

Gift money, money from selling stuff (usually other ponies or doll things), and once I found two $50 bonds in my stuff so I used those. xD At one point I also had some yard sale money that I used to buy my first ponies. And a decent chunk of my collection have been gifts.

I've yet to be able to get a job, but when I finally can practically all of my money will go to bills and savings. I'm hoping to be able to save up and add to my collections a bit though, but I'll be focusing on dolls when that happens.

I mostly use allowance, birthday and Christmas money. Hopefully I'll find enough volunteer jobs this holiday season to build up a good resume and get hired in the springtime, but once I do I'll be saving most of my paycheck for school. I'm planning on collecting as many ponies as I can before university eats up all my time and money.

I'm gonna be 20 three days before Christmas. Shame, though - the world's gonna end exactly a year before I can legally drink.

Sometimes when my boyfriend and I go out he orders a glass of wine (not much at all, though - he would hate nothing more than to be that guy) and I sometimes try it. I generally hate it though, the alcohol tastes kinda nasty to me. So I probably won't be drinking much next year. More money for dolls and ponies!

I usually pay for them with allowance money. I really only buy G4s; my parents are kind enough to buy past generations at yard sales or flea markets when they see them

When it comes to buying ponies and such online, it's usually money from selling and custom stuff. In stores IRL, my money comes from my dad, who's paid every two weeks. We're lower middle class, so I can normally only get $20 (at max) worth of ponies/dolls.
I really want to get a job, but I can't drive so that cuts down options by a ton >.<


I don't think I will ever drink much. I'm far to paranoid about how I behave and what may happen due to my medicines. Amusingly enough, I have a gallon jug of wine in my room It's my mom's; she keeps it in there to keep my dad from stealing it all...I promise they're not raving alcoholics lol
