PWK; I recall your starshine is on a Dutch/Belgian card? If yes, then it's perfectly normal. All ponies sold on Dutch/Belgian card kept their English names.

French name: Coquillage
Italian name: Ondina

In the Netherlands most ponies kept their English names, it was until later (1890-ish) that they changed 'My Little Pony' into 'Mijn Kleine Pony' (translation of my little pony). All of the French earth and rainbow ponies were sold here, but not the unicorn and pegasus ponies.

Seashell her french name is 'Coquillage' (Sea shell).

French seashell was sold in French and Dutch speaking countries. You can either look her up at Mon Petit Poney (French and Belgium) or just My Little Pony (dutch). If I come across one here in the Netherlands I'll let you know ;)
