So I'm working on rehairing a few deflocked ponies with their original color hair... and I was half thinking about giving them a totally unique hair style that they didn't originally have...

so has anyone else done alternate hairstyles with the original color hair on a restore? Show me examples if you have :3

I tend to keep the hair on restores (in my private collection) really long and simple. Usually curls- but once a blue moon, just straight. To me; getting too fancy with a restore takes away from her.

I can never seem to get those straight styles to lay properly, I'm horrible with the straight styles XD how do you manage to get them to lay so nice?

After I rehair them (and the glue is dry) I wash and condition the hair in warm water, run a comb through it; usually wrap it around the pony- and let her lay until she's dry. Once she's dry and you stand her up the hair stays down. If you want the tail to have some curl to it; just wrap it repeatedly around one of her back legs.

TB; after her new hair and bath. When she dries, her hair will lay flat and straight.
