Sneak Peek: Twelve of Thirteen

Alrighty, so I've been working on this one for quite a while... and she's the one that ended up causing me to go to the ER to get stitches, apparently it's a bad idea to cut downwards towards your leg with an x-acto knife, who knew? 

She's a very precious character to me, I'm a huge star trek fan, and I decided through watching Voyager, that I LOVE the borg! I loved Seven of Nine as well... and she inspired me to create this character, Twelve of Thirteen, a borg drone liberated from the collective and who joined starfleet. I didn't want to go with any of the standard races... so I created my own. They are from the Delta Quadrant, Species 1353 the Kalarians. She is the last of her kind, all of the others were assimilated by the borg, and she is the last survivor of those that were assimilated.

anyways, enough with my boring introduction, here is her WIP! I have a few things left to add to her, but she's almost done!

Now a question for everyone.... does anyone know where I can get some super thin flexible tubing that is either clear or a transparent blue?


Oh and I keep seeing people that say they use "triple thick" on the eyes... what's that and where can I get it?

Dunno about the tubing - assasin_kitty uses it on her cybers so she should know.  Triple Thick is a clear, thick, glossy sealant that most of us use on pony eyes.  I get mine at Michaels.

Great sculpting!  I'm not a Star Trek fan, but she looks fantastic!

Looks awesome! I love those ears and horns and the body detailing is amazing. I have been eyeing her for awhile now in you avatar pic.

Clear tubing/bluish tubing - try the aquarium store or a pet store - also can buy it by the foot online (called aquarium tubing)
