and I did this Fluttershy last month as a birthday present for a friend. I used silky ribbon for her hair because I didn't have enough pink hair to do a full rehair for this girl. I really like the effect I got form it I think I'll do more like her.

I have the basic kindle touch I got it a few years ago as a Christmas present. I love this thing, most of my e-books were free or less then $3 ( though I did buy the first four game of thrones books as a collection for $17) I do like it for the fact that I only have to carry around one book like object to have tons of books and I don't have to go looking through stores to find older books on my reading list.

I also love the text to speech feature, I'm a little bit of a slower reader so it helps to have the book read to me even if the pronunciation is a little off at times.   

The only draw back is that the screen is only black and white and the internet connection is iffy at best. The Kindle touch is limited on apps but as an e-reader it's solid and easy to use.

I still collect 'dead tree books' or 'paper' whatever term you prefer, but I don't have the need to troll used book stores daily to get my fix.
