This new series is so gorgeous! I have to admit none that are grabbing me enough to buy but I am admiring from afar. I really like the blue & green girls. I may someday break for the blue girl, what's holding me back is her outfit- I hate it. Victoria's also beautiful but she looks too close to two other dolls I have so I don't think I'll be getting her. I do not like the boys & they all look the same to me, just recolored. Well. I mean they are, they all have the same mould lol. ... So.... that thing I said about having all the ones I wanted? Yeah. That was a lie. To myself.  I mean, was it a lie if I *thought* I was telling the truth? So Eliza & Karla snuck into my collection... Eliza I did honestly always want but kept convincing myself I didn't because she 1) Looked very similar to Natasha, and because of how similar plenty of these dolls are, I really wanted to avoid having any too close to each other, & 2) I hated the text on her dress & the fact her wings were just a costume piece, not real. However, oh dearie me, I've managed to overcome it and hoard even *more* dolls. And they are *gorgeous* I love them so much. And once you see her in person, Eliza is different enough from Natasha to still be very interesting. Her entire body is a pearlescent, silvery blue. @.@ My boyfriend was at Target & asked if I needed anything, I sent two pics of Karla & Jewel & asked if he'd poke his head in the dolls to look for them. They only had Karla, & shortly after, Jewel sold out where I had her bookmarked online, so it wasn't meant to be! But that's okay, I really prefer Shadow High and want to try & keep my Rainbow High to the very minimum, only ones I feel I *need.* Last thing, I wanted to show I got my Lila a real yukata! Her outfit was... Nice... But it wasn't what I wanted for her. I put the clothes she was wearing on G3 Drac, though I don't know if I'll keep them on her. I was dying to put them on Harajuku Lovers' Music but they're too damn skinny and even trying to rubber-band things in place was futile. So she got a yukata as well. So did Monster Exchange Drac, I actually bought all 3 specifically for these dolls! I had been thinking how I'd love to have some doll yukatas, because I have one for myself & adore it, & like two days after I had that thought, someone on the Monster High subReddit posted that they were handmaking & selling all these yukatas. visitors can't see pics , please register or login visitors can't see pics , please register or login visitors can't see pics , please register or login visitors can't see pics , please register or loginWait, did I say just Eliza & Karla? Oh my, I must've forgotten some of those creepy little Poopsies crawled in behind them... Send help. I actually hate baby dolls, but these grabbed me because 1) they're in the RH/SH universe, 2) I'm obsessed with fairies & mermaids & I LOVED these two's designs so much that I was able to look past the fact they're babies. With buttholes. That fart glitter. & they will puke glitter if you take those pacifiers out- yes I got puked on. Absolutely wild. They smell like candy. I took a peek at the rest of them and am very positive no more at all will be allowed in... I know my track record on that, but *really* this time I swear. But I like these ones. (the bf does NOT! lmao)

...I do wish her name wasn't spelt so awkwardly though. I have no idea what's wrong with Zoë. It's like nobody can use an umlaut any more. A name should never emulate "gooey" and that's that.
I've never cared for this spelling either, but I think it might be a US thing actually. I know it's been around since I was very young in school, there was a Zooey in one of my classes as a young child so that's why I remember that. Speaking of Zooey- this doll was what got me into SH/RH, and I've been waiting for her for *so long.* I preordered her the second I'd heard she dropped on Amazon, even! I don't frequent the Arena as much as I should, so I haven't posted about her, but I am SO EXCITED about her. She ties with Harley Limestone as my fave SH/RH doll. I kind of feel like she completed my collection of them? I have all the ones I've ever really wanted badly enough to actively pursue. (there's a LOT I passively like or think are beautiful but won't try to go out of my way to buy) Unless something crazy comes out soon that really gets my attention.

Esbayne, I totally understand your breaking down with her. I love all three of that set, but they're so expensive here. I did snatch Uma, the blue one, on random sale on Amazon.
I understand the gateway thing. *eyes shelf* We won't talk about how I went from one to five. I'm mostly using unspent vouchers though, which is helping me to justify it a bit more.
The green one definitely did it! I'm jealous, Esbayne. I don't think they sell that doll here. I know there's another version of her, or one with very similar colours, but she doesn't seem to be here, either. Amazon lists her as something like £125 so I'm like, no thank you...
I am leaning towards the green one as well. I blame Esbayne entirely for this. But there is another reason. I was playing around with Uma after washing the gel out of her hair (it has taken so long to try -.- she has so much hair) and I had a sudden thought. And it kind of went...a bit...out of control...
DO ITT! DO EET!! *cheers on*  And ahhh I'm sorry to hear they don't sell her there!! D: I hope she shows up for you soon! That's so bizarre they'd exclude only her from the SH musician girls. They're all so stunning.... @.@ Also your restyled Uma is so cute!! <3 Which... Brings my to my next topic... Now I blame YOU, Taffeta!! Uma... Has followed me home. >.> And it appears she brought Lila as a friend... (Which I also blame you for, Taff!! But also, I had to jump on her, I loved her and ho-hummed about getting her forever, but she seems to be disappearing on clearance everywhere and I'm not sure they'll restock her, because she apparently sparked some sort of controversy...) (my bf thought Uma was so cool for her guitar! Actually if I'm being honest, that's the part that got me to buy her. It's a replica of a very famous heavy metal musician's guitar, & her style also just screams "Judas Priest," another metal band I got to see live, so I had to. The part that was getting me was her pink lips- But I think I may paint them. I am just not a fan of pink thrown into a color scheme willy nilly) So. Now I have two RH, and 6 SH. *hides* Granted, two were a gift, I got the Storm Twins so they came together, & I got all the rest on pretty good discounts. I literally had to get a third doll shelf. *faints* Omg how did this happen. They share it with all my G3 MH's, now. I'll take a pic in a little bit, I've restyled a couple of mine and was pretty happy with their outcomes, even if it was minor. The green one looked good with a ponytail & her braids hanging down, but I took it out because it was crimping her hair and I hate when dolls get ponytail-crimps because it's so hard to fix. Here's some crappy pics for now. (ignore the BJD. lol)

I LOVEEEE your designs for these!! I was so excited for them to come out, but they never did, along with another animal line I had been waiting for called Wild Childz? That was such an interesting time for doll prototypes. I was soo in love with the idea of Trashion Alley's fashion though, all their little bits and bobs are amazing! I am soo in love with those strawberry candy wrapper shoes. I hope so badly they may see the light of day again someday, but seems Hasbro's not interested.  Nevertheless I appreciate you sharing your amazing drawings of them!

(also so glad to know I'm not alone in not remembering their names very well. I renamed my gal.) Congrats on your new girl Esbayne.  I think RH dolls must multiply when you're not watching them as one seems to suddenly turn in to 5.

Well.... I broke down. Prettttty quickly actually. I was trying to hold out on buying any of these dolls, to see what was going to be the news on that blue "Novi Stars" SH alien girl... But then I found THIS girl. I had not seen her before. She reminds me of my favourite band, but not only that, she is STUNNING and I love every single little thing about her theme. As soon as I saw her, I watched 1 unboxing vid & bought her on the spot. I got her for $30 USD flat! She was on sale and for some reason I had a $5 Amazon coupon? O.o No idea why but I frequently make trial accounts to use Prime so maybe it's related to that... visitors can't see pics , please register or login(my work desk, it's a mess, sorry lol. I plan to take more photos of her in a bit) I... am. in. LOVE. @.@ I've had her for a few days now and I can't stop staring at her and messing with her pose & hair! She is absolutely one of my overall fave dolls now for sure & definitely hogging all the attention right now, despite all my new G3 MH dolls! I am literally obsessed with her. Their clothes and accessories are SO adorable, I love all the extras. I dressed her like this to make her look more like she's themed around my fave band and had planned it before she got here, but her extra clothes are so cute too, and I've been trying to figure out who out of my other dolls I can shuffle them around to. Still not sold on ALL of their faces, and the side profile is still something to get used to, but seriously someone send help because I'm already hovering around the page for the Shadow twins & the spider girl... >.> She was the gateway drug... I couldn't stop looking at the others today and before I knew it I had a full page of bookmarks. Please. I beg of ye. Send. HELP. @.@

Just thought of something... If they can scale down the molds to make blind bag minis, they can scale them UP as well, right....? How awesome would a huge styling size G1 be !!!! Since they are listening to collectors, maybe someone who has their contact info can suggest it? I'd vote for the Posey and Fizzy molds !

TWYLA'S BACK!? Give her a better outfit and I'm buying her ASAP. (new Dustin is creepy though... ) I like it. It's classic, nice to see Frankie's parents. Just wish they wouldn't price out kids, that's unfair.

I mean... They are collector's dolls.  MLP does the same thing, or really any line with an additional collector's series. Kids aren't generally collectors, and the higher price point allows for higher quality. Does this Frankenstein pack really have that compared to previous collectors'? Eh... Debatable. Definitely higher quality than Dracula was from G2. But definitely lower than G1 Hexiciah. (comparing parents) They are still very cute though. That being said, I grabbed one! I had them bookmarked for release time, which was 8am my time- when I start work. But, as predicted, I'm always groggy and forgetful in the morning and totally thought I'd missed them drop- (my plan was- if I check and they're there, it was meant to be and GRAB THEM. If not, wasn't meant to be.) Well I checked anyway at 9:30- they were still there!! I grabbed them as fast as possible. The more I think about it, the more excited I am to get them, and can't wait to receive them! Browsing the MH Mattel forums, it seems almost everyone who was able to get on within about 2hrs was able to get one, which is miles better than all the previous releases where they just immediately sold out in seconds due to bots. They had some anti-bot checks in place this time.

It took a little longer than it was originally estimated, but Deuce & Ghoulia are here!!! Deuce came two days ago. I took his jacket off & replaced his shoes with G1 "Mansters Game Night" Deuce's shoes. (that Deuce wears leather boots lol) I knew I didn't really like his jacket, but it does look nicer in person. The orange snake on the right arm is jarring. I didn't expect to hate his original shoes so much, but I haaate them. UGH they're hideous!! So I put him in these. SLIGHTLY loose but overall the boys can exchange shoes G1-G3 better than the girls. Ghoulia I put in a pair of tights from I🖤Fashion Wydona. These have always been one of my favourite items of clothing in my MH clothes collection, but I've never had anyone to put them on that really rocks them. So when I saw G3 Ghoulia released, and her ugly skirt, I knew I HAD to get her, literally to wear these tights. And MAN DOES SHE ROCK THEM!! Worked out great. She looks so much better in these. Not sure why, but they fit her much better than any of the other G3 ghouls. (tried them on Frankie before) Her body looks identical but maybe it's slightly slimmer because the tights fit great on her. She was made for these. Also excited I got one of the limited "$1 for charity" dolls too. She came with a little "Switch!" The thumbsticks are skulls and it's SO cute lol, that her skateboard are my fave accessories so far. (I wish I could give it some clever name but I can't think of any puns for Nintendo or Switch. Wish it was a Gameboy, cause I could call it a Graveboy, at the very least lmfao.) THE DECAL ON HER SKATEBOARD IS DEADFAST!!! Like the exact same decals used for her SDCC release!! I'm adoring the G1 references soo much. Weird fun fact, she is almost IDENTICAL to G1 Frankie's green. Not sure why, kinda weird. You don't realize how blue G3 Frankie in real life is til you put them together. The only one I wish I'd waited on is Frankie- I ADORE that Fearleading Squad version of her and really prefer it. I'm wondering if someone would be willing to sell her (and Deuce's shoes from that pack... I prefer them too!) to me if they got the 6 pack, but that seems like it might be a tough deal to find. (edit: oh I forgot I also put Frankie in a pair of I🖤Fashion Iris' tights, Drac in Frights, Camera, Action! Honey's hat. I did a bunch of redressing recently lol. Stole all of G3 Clawdeen's accessories & split them between G1 Clawdia & Clawdeen lol...)

OH NO, I LOVE THEM. I didn't think I would tbh because I haven't liked several of the Skullectors overly much. (Really I just love the Beetlejuice & Greta ones. Greta evaded me. ) Oh well, I won't get my hopes up. The Skullectors ones have been horrible with scalping issues and selling out in literal seconds to bots, and Mattel doesn't seem to care. The last one they apparently dropped at a super random time, without announcement- or maybe that was the Reel Drama ones- either way, the Skullectors ones are suffering from the same issues. Tons of people missed them, but they are being resold for inflated prices galore. And yet people I see in the community keep buying them from these guys, while in the same hand complaining about prices online.  I do see these ones seem to launch at a much more reasonable time, though- and do seem to be limited, though people use bots to run multiple accounts. So not getting too excited, but would never say no to being able to snag these guys! I do really love the boy and the girl's hair and shoes are *chef's kiss* I might see if I can! Edit: I SNAGGED THEM. 🙊
