Raspberyl was released years ago, though. She's demanding a high price tag. How do you guys pick and choose?!

Heh.  HA.  Funny.

I picked mine kinda...oddly.

It all started with Homura, my favorite charcter from Madoka Magica, which is probably my favorite anime ever.

I watch so much anime, so it's impossible to get nendos from each series.  Impossible.

So I only get nendos of characters I think are awesome and would be friends in real life. If that makes sense?  xD
And only if the figure itself is awesome. So those are my two deciding factors.
So like...I loved guilty crown, and the Inori nendo was adorable, but her character was ehhhh not so great, so I didn't get her.
I loved Madoka Magica and Black Rock Shooter, so I got Homura and BRS.
LOVED the squid girl anime, but her nendo was...kinda plain, so I didn't get her.  (Though still thinking about it!)

So currently I have Captain Marika and Black Rock Shooter on preorder.  They along with Homura will the chibi bffs forever! 

My process is kinda nuts....

I watch a lot of anime, but many of these I haven't seen. 

I recognize a few, such as Raspberyl from Disgaea 3, Yoko from Gurren Lagann, all of the Queen's Blade girls, Kuroneko from Ore no Imouto ga Konnani Kawaii Wake ga Nai and all the Death Note characters. The rest of these are pretty foreign to me.

I can think of some characters I would really like to have as Nendos! I started typing them all out, but then I realized it would long and babbly. None of my favorites are there. I guess I have a thing for more serious anime, so it's hard to find ones I recognize. Totally bummed I didn't even know about these early enough to grab Raspberyl and Kuroneko, though. Would love to have them in my possession.

Kuroyukihime (butterfly girl) is from Accel World.  It's a pretty cool show, it's airing right now, so only 14 episodes are out right now.

I love nendoroids though I don't collect them as much anymore (especially since my local anime store closed down T_T) I was fortunate to start collecting them fairly early on so I have most of the early releases, I own probably 75 or so of the normal sized nendoroids and over 100 petites.

When I first started collecting Nendoroids were only 2500-3000 yen and the yen conversion rate was a lot more favorable to the dollar ie. it was over 100 yen to the dollar versus now on a good day it's what maybe 80 yen? I was very happy with them at that price but the price has climbed in more recent years and my interest in anime has declined a bit (I still love just not many newer shows and most nendos come from newer shows). I had been buying them semi-locally at Animadness at like $40 to $45 each but they never opened back up after Anime Boston this year so I don't think I will be buying them very much anymore, I do still have two preorders though- the new Saber and Sakura and Sakura Wars.
