Party Pikachus are everywhere for me like the Santa ones.

I only saw party hat Pikachu once, and I went out to get it because it was nice that day and I didn't mind the walk.

Santa hat Pikachu spawned like crazy during that Christmas event, but according to what I've been reading, Niantic didn't increase the spawn rate for Partychu and the rumor is because people complained that there were too many Pikachu in December which made it "less special".

If that rumor is true, then...uh...I don't know what to think other than there are way more important and valid complaints that Niantic should be paying attention to.

Do you have any reddit or Facebook pokemon go groups for your area? They could alert you to a Pikachu spawn area.

The Silph Road also has a tool on their website that lets you see spawn areas based on user submissions. You might be able to find a Pikachu spawn using that.

At the top of the homepage on their website, there's a section that says Nest Atlas. So far it's been pretty accurate for the nests around where I live.

I got two party hat Pikachus today!

Still no party Pikachus for me, getting a little worried!! D: But today I hatched my very first Gen 2 Pokemon! A Phanpy! She's super cute, a tiny little elephant from an egg! Aww! She came from a 5k, if anyone's curious!

In all week I've only seen two Party-Pikas so I can't say they are as common as the Christmas-Pika.
I'm now up to 30 gen 2 pokemons- It feels like much less but I guess I'm slowly making progress

I caught three more party hat Pikachu today, so I evolved one and I have a party hat Raichu now!

I agree that they definitely aren't anywhere near as common as the Santa hat Pikachu, though. Those things were literally everywhere.

I'm soooo close to being able to have Scizor, btw! Just a few more candies!

Phanpy is so cute! And Sailorstich, I love your picture of Pikachu. Hope everyone finds a Partypika. PSA: You might want to use razzberries and your best Pokeballs on them if you find them since Pikachu are a little tough to catch. I went to a Pokestop with my sister when we sighted one because she wanted one really badly; it ran from me when I used an Ultra Ball but my sister caught it (using a razzberry and Ultra Ball, I think). (I already had one, so I'm not broken up about it )

Let us know when you get your Scizor, Renia! Oh, and guess what? I caught a Mareep today! Probably the only one I'll find. I hadn't known quite how adorable that Pokémon was. So floofy! I didn't even know she was at the Pokestop; I came for the Cyndaquil and there she was.
